We carried out so, not much to say about the service. They did however only give us 3 orders of the crabby patties when we ordered 4 but they also only charged us for 3. We’ll chalk that up to a miscommunication.
The food was excellent! Both the crabby patties and fish tacos were delicious. The crabby patties were good but if you’re like me and don’t like cheese on there, don’t forget to tell them! It also had lettuce and tomato on there. Be warned: you may bite into a random piece of shell.
The staff that I did interact with was very friendly.
I would definitely come back if in the area.

Nice restaurant. The menu has a lot of options for seafood and beef/chicken. Most everything is deep fried, which is not ideal in my opinion. But the crab cake sandwich I had was delicious. A bit oily, but nothing out if the ordinary for fried food.

I’ve been here a couple times now and haven’t had an issue with their food or service. I usually get the fried fish combo or the fried scallops. Both are amazing! Their desserts are good if you catch them at the right time. Nice comfortable environment.

I have been very disappointed the last couple of times we have gone here. Food is never delivered to the entire party at once. It is always staggered, sometimes a lot! The portions are smaller for the price. The biggest difference, since they relocated a few years ago, is the friendliness of the staff. They just aren’t very personable. You feel more like a bother, than a welcome guest.

Read some reviews prior and was hesitant to eat here. Upon entrance, the staff made us feel welcome, our waitress was one of the best parts. The sweet tea needed some help. The hushpuppies that typically come out as an appetizer just come on your plate, or you can ask for them to be brought to your table before your meal, you just won’t have any on your plate. I ordered shrimp and scallops and my husband oysters and shrimp. Our shrimp was small and heavily breaded and not that great, the oysters were amazing, not heavily breaded and large, the scallops were not the best I have ate, they had too much breading and didn’t taste fresh, I think they were artificial..I would not order these again. The slaw was really good. Overall I probably would try it again and order something different. I also wouldn’t want to eat here if I wanted fresh seafood, you can tell the difference.

I’ll never go back here. I came once a year ago with family and the experience was not good. I decided to come back yesterday for Mother’s Day since my daughter and I could walk there from our house easily. Big mistake. Not only did we get ignored while waiting to be seated, we were ignored once we were seated and I had to ask someone to help us! While this was happening I witnessed (who I found out is the owner) a blonde woman cleaning tables while belittling and talking down to the waitresses. Not only is this unprofessional, it’s embarrassing! Don’t do that in front of customers. The waitress that served us was very sweet and when I confronted her about the woman belittling her, she said she’s the owner and continued to apologize for her, making excuses for her behavior. The food was good but the experience outweighs that. We won’t go back for sure.

Great Place for Seafood and a cold one!!
My Wife and I had to be in Havelock today and lucked out to stop in to Crabby Patty’s for our first time as they opened for lunch.
The place is decorated cool like a crab shack on the water. The waitress was friendly and helpful and kept the drinks cold and fresh.
We got the seafood sampler appetizer – clam strips, fried shrimp and fried calamari. It was fresh and cooked perfect and delicious!
I had the seafood burrito and it was awesome and big! It has yellow rice and lettuce and sauce and plenty of fried fish and shrimp inside and had lots of flavor! Monica had the Fish Tacos and they were great with nice big pieced of fresh fried fish.
I’ll be back to Crabby Patty’s whenever I get in the area.
(for those that are unaware – the old one – a little south of there burned down and this is the new one and it is still a great place)
