I’ve tried to support a local hometown business but they’ve failed me twice. When a customer orders a particular item from your menu they expect to receive your best not your worst. Last, night I was served 3 pieces of soggy, oily tilapia with the batter falling off of it… even though I ordered Whiting…BIG DIFFERENCE! This is ridiculous…Just by taking your time to make sure you care enough to make sure your customers get exactly what they order, will kept them coming back and spreading good news about your business. At the moment I’m done, we’re done and I have nothing good to say.

Lake City is a halfway point for me and my mom to meet up and today she wanted to have lunch. We happened to stumble upon this little gem and we were extremely happy and satisfied with our meal. The food was great! Affordable for the portions you receive and the flavors are off the charts! Not only did we enjoy our food we enjoyed the customer service that we received from Kenya. I encourage you to take a trip to the Crab Spot in Lake City, you won’t be disappointed!

Awesome crab legs with garlic butter an old bay Yum yum. Ooh my goodness those wings leave me salivating…I go every other day best treat in a very long while..I noticed staff sanitized hands an use gloves. kitchen crew were focused alert an mindful of areas an customer safety. The turnout time is amazing while maintaining high food quality. Applause to owner Manager BUT MOSTLY THE CREW. Me and my wife stopped by this restaurant on the way home. We order 2 Large Garlic Crab boils and one order of bang bang shrimp and fries. We received our food about 30mins later. They did not have any potatoes so we substitute it for sausage. The bags were half full 2 claws a few shrimp, thinly sliced sausage which were burnt (see pictures) the fries that came with the bang bang shrimp were stale. The seasoning on the crab tasted like that poured a full container of salt in it. Extremely salty and couldn’t eat it. Only one egg came in this large order and the egg we couldn’t eat cause it was rubbery (see pictures) This place was spotted on our way out of lake city so we decided to stop. We spent $90.17 and didn’t get to eat it because of the poor preparation and cooking of this food. We will not be returning and highly recommend you all eat somewhere else where your food will be prepared properly.

I had the garlic crab tray, and it was way too much garlic on it. In fact, I couldn’t even taste the crab. The crabs didn’t have any meat in it at all. The only good thing on the plate was the sausage. I literally threw the whole plate away. I had the fried corn as well, and the batter on the corn wasn’t good at all. Also, the only thing that was good I got from there was their buffalo wings.

Today my husband wanted to try the oxtail so we went back and we spoke to Veronica and I let her know my issue about my last order and I want to thank her. She was very professional and up front. She recommend items I should try. She fixed my order herself just to assure it would be better than the last and it was. My husband enjoyed the oxtail and mac and cheese. I will be back. Thanks to Veronica

I’m not from around here this is my boyfriends hometown I usually don’t eat from places I haven’t tried In the past but today I was feeling a little adventurous! I said that to say the food is terrible!! I really pushed it when I ordered the oxtail dinner! I was expecting baked Mac and cabbage but instead I received a plate with Mac That was so disappointing there is no other words to describe it and string beans. I was not educated that I will be receiving green beans instead of cabbage and the plate was damn near $20 18.65 to be exact. The cornbread was drier than the Sahara! I’m just DISGUSTED!

Drove 19 miles from Florence because the one here is not open yet. The staff was friendly, I spent about $60 taste testing almost all of the menu. The fish and shrimp lack flavor. The wings were delicious.

Somehow the idea of fast drive thru seafood just didn’t set very well with me, but decided to give Crab Spot a try. Should have listened to my onstunct. Fried oysters are horrible, taste funny and are extra rubbery! I don’t even like lobster, but ny bf wanted one, and I’m not a expert I lobster tail, but i was under the impression that they were pretty good sized. Obviously not, because the one we got wasny much bigger than a jumbo shrimp! I’m glad we have food at home or that $50 we just gave away would have really made me mad! Obviously the owners need that money to get seafood cooking lessons and food for their obviously starving fresh seafoodd. Next time i want seafood. I guess i will continue to take the trip to Charleston because this is nit even a good excuse for seafood! Never again!
