We really enjoyed our meal for four adults here. Ordered the Harbor Boil + 1 lb. of sausage, hot spice level, special mix sauce (which is all sauce choices mixed together). Everything was cooked nicely and delicious. We like spicy food and the “hot” level was enough spice for us, just right. We ordered some garlic bread at the end to soak up the delicious sauce. To us the Harbor Boil with a pound of yummy sausage added would have fed 5 people fully, the four of us were stuffed full! With only one big beer on our order and one ice cream, and tip our total was a very fair $40 per person. Our server was nice and checked back with us often (it was not crowded during our visit). I was particularly surprised at the green lip mussels which were big, plump, and tasty, actually better than some I have had in New Zealand. All good!

Oh… My… Goodness! It’s a double “yum” of an experience! Fun atmosphere, friendly and attentive service, and most importantly, AMAZING food! We got the Alaska boil and the seafood shake classic, along with 2 orders of their basic cajus pasta, and between 8 people, we all left completely full and was even given a complimentary pound of seafood of our choice to bring home! I will definitely be returning to indulge in more of their seafood goodness! I am going to point out, this is not an inexpensive, cut-corners seafood boil-style restaurant… Bring your pocketbook with plenty of scratch!!! Our tab was just a little under $400, which was expected as we wanted King crab with our order. Not complaining in the slightest as it was worth every bite, just feel you should have fair warning as to the prices. Besides that, head out to Krab King and get yourself some of the best seafood in town!

I had an awesome experience at Crab King in Tacoma. The staff was genuinely kind, the portions were generous, and overall I honestly think this place is better than The Crab Pot in Seattle — plus, it’s more affordable for what you get.
I didn’t have time to read the other reviews that led to the 4.2 overall rating, but my personal experience was solidly five stars. What impressed me most was how intentional and intuitive their whole process is. For example, when we sat down, we received two sets of gloves. At first, I was confused and even commented on it because I don’t like waste. But about twenty-five minutes later, as I was plowing through what felt like an endless pot of seafood, the first pair gave out. That’s when I realized just how thoughtful they are — pair one to start, hand wipe one to transition, pair two to finish strong, and a final hand wipe once you’re done. It was surprisingly practical and made perfect sense.
Another detail I really appreciated was their system for take-out. Since the tables get messy with butter, seasoning, and everything else, they don’t set your to-go bag on the table. Instead, they hang it on hooks. Simple, clean, efficient, and honestly just smart.
Overall, this was a great experience — intentional service, great food, practical systems, and fair pricing. Definitely a five-star visit for me. I’ll be back.

We picked up our online order!
The sauce was just perfect! Not too much (not too oily or salty) and all the seafood seems fresh and the quantity compare to the price, it was honestly 9/10!
I wish they have multi choices for seafood boil option on Uber eat app but we ended up using their link so yes we will def come back here for our seafood boils!

Please see my review on Yelp under Vickie B. I have ordered from here several times, but this was an awful experience!!! Visited on 11/26/25. The restaurant was smelly of a bad fishy smell… I had to hold my nose….i should have taken it as a red flag.
Photos are of an $150+ Dungeness crab seafood boil in the garbage!! The crab was overwhelmingly overcooked!! Even after digging out the crab meat (you shouldn’t have to did the crab meat out) it was ddddrrrrryyy and unappetizing ….. with bits of the shell within the meat…yuck!!! The corn on the cobs were over cooked and the potatoes were tasteless.
I will not be spending my hard earned money at this establishment anytime soon, unless they can rectify this matter!

I only took a pic of the bread! Once the boil hit the table we dived in. Everything was so good including my Hurricane. Our server J4 was excellent! He was patient. He answered all of our questions and even though we were still eating at close, we were not rushed. Thank you for the great food and hospitality, all the way from Louisville, KY.

We had a wonderful experience celebrating my husband’s birthday here. Our server was both entertaining and attentive, which added to the enjoyable atmosphere. Since the portions were quite generous, we decided to share a bag and still ended up with leftovers. I would definitely return on future visits to this area and highly recommend that others give it a try!

We made the rookie mistake of taking a baby to our first crab boil, which was quite the experience. Shrimp cocktail was good. The crab was yummy but we had to work so hard for it and the large party group next to use were loud so our baby tried to out-yell them. Crawfish were overcooked, though.
