We went for steamed crabs and shrimp. The night before we went to the bar for dinner and we frequent here for take out and eat in (2 times a week at least) we went to get crabs and we paid for the biggest avail. We didn’t get what we paid for. The server claimed that she went to manager and manager said that the crabs came out of the same basket. Well people next to us and our neighbors across the street from our home were there and they got cheaper crabs which looked the same size and a few were even larger. The crabs and shrimp were over cooked but we ate and paid any way. We had the same problem several years ago with being overcharged or given wrong size crabs and in fact the manager tract my wife down through Facebook and begged us to come back and offered free crabs to us. Well we did go but it wasn’t good even though free. I’m done with bird river inn crab house. I went to winters run many times and always got what I paid for with great taste and excellent service.

I love going to Bird River Inn Crab House! They have the best crabs! Full of meat and delicious! Never been disappointed in all the times I’ve gone! Definitely recommend!
