Underseasoned and underwhelming. Had some high hopes for this spot as I was finally able to stop by. The wings were cooked well and the fried rice wasn’t seasoned. And they topped it off with forgetting my meal was a combo, so never received my French fries

Food was absolutely terrible!!! Everything was nasty. I don’t know how you messed up on a salad lol. The lemon pepper wings were season on the outside however the chicken itself was very Bland not seasoned at all. The fried pickles were terrible, there was no effort into that.

Crab City Seafood & Oyster Bar in San Antonio is amazing! From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is lively, welcoming, and full of great energy. The place feels fresh and fun, perfect for hanging out with friends or enjoying a family dinner.
The food is seriously top-tier. Everything tasted fresh and perfectly seasoned. The seafood boil was loaded with flavor, and the portions were more than generous. The oysters were fresh, the crab was delicious, and the sauces tied everything together perfectly. You can tell they put care into every plate.
The service was fast, friendly, and helpful, they checked on us often and made sure everything was perfect. Prices were very fair for the quality and amount of food you get, and the whole experience felt worth every penny.
If you love seafood or just want a fun, flavorful place to eat in San Antonio, Crab City is the spot. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending it to everyone I know!

So delicious although the shrimp fried rice could use some seasoning. Our waiter was fantastic! The jalapeno margarita was excellent!

let me first say this used to be the dry Doc oyster bar. I went there in a very early 90s and drink beer and oysters with my boyfriend so I used to love it when I approached this to feed my kids. I realize where I was but I have to say the menu is extensive animated with pictures for kids menu for those who don’t like seafood and you know a lot of kids don’t like seafood. !! So they can be happy to, but let me say this place is so good and it is amazing. The food is amazing with 1 million choices, I drove from Stone Oak to have food here so I need everyone to understand it while some say that the previous restaurant went downhill and was bad. This is not the same place. It is a new name new owner new people new Leuck new everything please don’t be confused with the old place and try this place. It’s so good and I am convinced of calling that council member in that district to do a spotlight on how good this place is you won’t regret it if you like seafood my year-old granddaughter had lobster go figure and she loved it. I had the étouffée which was great, but I wanna try everything on the menu. My other two kids had the buckets that you can create your own bucket. Let’s say you don’t like corn. You don’t like sausage you wanna make a broil of your own with shrimp head on head off the options are endless. I’ve never quite seen so many options so come on San Antonio this place has been open eight months give it a try in the new business small business a break. Enjoy the good food like we did. You won’t regret it. !! And kudos to the waitress working Friday night at 7 o’clock on 23 March you were amazing and so was chef

I truly love this place.
(Plate 1) 4 boudin balls with dipping sauce. The Boudin itself was great but the texture on the outside of the boudin was not good.
(Plate 2) shrimp etouffee.
You can taste the tomato sauce. A little strong but good. This dish fills me up.
Today was my 1st time and I have plans to come back. I just need to find a dish that I truly love.
Also they have a patio sitting for family and friends. With the option to sit at the bar if you’re so choose that.
Overall the noise level was down because we came in around late lunch time.
I will give this place another try and something different to eat

Seafood was good, were great! Drinks were well made. Best Paloma I have had in a while. Need to note that they DO NOT do substitutions. Chicken strips were lack luster. Sitck with the fresh seafood.

Waitress was pleasant and attentive
Food was ok
Oysters on the half shell were fresh
Poutine balls were really good (I was surprised)
The bucket of seafood was decent. Good amount of shrimp
One small potato
Corn was typically mushy
Garlic butter sauce was ok
Crab legs were only disappointment, definitely frozen, meat was mushy- not terrible. But I am a seafood snob sooo take it with a grain of salt
