I would absolutely return. My husband and I came to the Ironbound last night (Saturday) searching for food options at 11pm.
As soon as we walked in, we felt welcomed. Mara’s hospitality and service was phenomenal. That’s the first thing I want to mention.
Next, our Brazilian-style hamburgers were delicious. My passion fruit caipirinha (yes, they do flavors!) was super tasty too. There was also live music. It’s my birthday weekend and I’m glad I stopped by! Thank you Mara for making our experience memorable!

This Portuguese American bar is a must-visit! They have a great selection of beers. But the real star of the show is the food – the mixed meat platters are incredible, and the portions are so generous you’ll have leftovers for days. The atmosphere is super chill, with cool music playing in the background, making it the perfect spot to relax and unwind. And the service? Top-notch. Our waiter was attentive and friendly, making sure we had everything we needed. Overall, an awesome experience – I can’t wait to go back!

This place might be known more as a bar, but don’t sleep on the food—it’s incredible! The Brazilian dishes were full of flavor and made with so much care. The vibe is calm and super relaxing, perfect for unwinding. Chef Andreia was the highlight—so welcoming, kind, and clearly passionate about what she does. She made us feel right at home. I don’t like their fit meals. They are actually not that fit. I don’t like eating turkey meatballs from frozen bags. There’s nothing healthy about that. Other than that, their sandwiches are good. But they take forever to make anything and the waitresses are nice but they are too laid back with the service.
