Met my friend at Cozumel as it was a nice neutral location between both of our homes. Arrived around 4:50 on a Sunday and we were seated right away. Chips and salsa were provided and our waiter stopped by to grab our drink orders.
Menu has a great variety of staple dishes and I found my go-to whenever it’s available, Chori pollo. Food was out lightning quick and it looked and smelled amazing. Friend ordered the steak fajitas and the steak smelt wonderful.
The chorizo was well flavored and paired very well with the cheese and chicken. Thankfully the chorizo was not overtly greasy and I was thankful for that. Some restaurants I have tried this dish at, the entire plate becomes a soup because of all the excess oil.
Overall we both very much enjoyed our meals and the service we received and would absolutely recommend Cozumel if you are in the are looking for a very solid Mexican food option. Pricing was reasonable for the portion sizes but was a bit more expensive than some others I have had in the Middleburg heights and Strongsville area.

First time visitor. The ambience and service are top notch. Food was mild flavored. I like strong flavors so I didn’t like it much. Must try are jarritos, friends ice cream, churros and nachos with meat.

Cozumel in Brunswick was busy, which is always a good sign. Despite the crowd, the service was excellent—our server was friendly, attentive, and on top of everything. The chips and salsa came out almost immediately and were fresh and tasty. The food came out quickly, packed with flavor, especially given how packed it was. Great food, fast service, and a lively atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit!

This place was on the way to River’s Edge Tactical, a gun store and range that was close. They were busy on a Friday at 6 pm, but we were seated quickly. We were immediately given chips along with individual bowls of salsa. They immediately got my attention with that move. Why can’t all restaurants do this?
They have a good-sized menu. I picked the Burrito a la Diabla. A flour tortilla with grilled chicken, chorizo cooked in a spicy sauce. They had side of rice and charro beans.
They have a pepper pictured beside my order in the menu, indicating it was hot and spicy.
It was not hot or spicy. It was delicious but totally safe for those who can’t eat spicy foods.
The beans were AMAZING!
They had meat in them and were delicious. The I’ve had spicier catsup. Diabla Burrito was good, too.
I enjoyed the meal, but it is spicy for Ohio, I guess.
I would definitely recommend eating there. I would figure out a way to actually get spicy food the next time I ordered.

It had been years since I last visited Cozumel in Brunswick. Honestly, I always felt like something was missing from the food. Recently, I heard they had renovated, so my wife and I decided to give it another shot for lunch. Let me just say—the transformation was phenomenal!
I ordered the taco salad with shredded beef, a dish I often get at other local Mexican restaurants. But this one? It absolutely stood out. For a simple taco salad, it was hands down the best I’ve ever had. Cozumel has seriously stepped up their game when it comes to the food.
The chips and salsa were fresh and flavorful, and the servers were prompt and friendly. I can easily see myself coming here much more often to explore the rest of the menu. Thanks for a great meal, Cozumel!

Waited 10 mins for chips and 20 mins for drinks . Food was overpriced and margaritas were lacking in the alcohol department. For what I was charged I’ll go to an actual steakhouse or good restaurant next time. This is your average Mexican joint with white tablecloth prices

What’s American Mexican restaurants go? This is a good one. The original cozumel in lakewood is my favorite but this is my second favorite. Staff was polite efficient. The food was tasty. Serve quickly and a good value for the money. It was a lovely day in the outdoor patio was a nice option. Anyone in the brunswick area I would recommend and I will go there again.
