Great place with an amazing view.
The food is delicious, and the service is excellent.
The steak, sourced from Nicaragua, is outstanding, and the tuna tartare is fresh and very well prepared.
The only drawbacks are the dessert menu, which could be more developed, and the road leading to the property, which can be challenging, especially during the rainy season.
Better to come during the day because it’s too busy for the sunset.

What an amazing experience for those travelling to nosara and seeking an elevated dining experience. Essentially the best view and sunset you can find in the area. The restaurant is elegant and clean. The service was fantastic…they brought our cocktails out to the hill so we could enjoy the sunset. Food is a farm to table type menu. Tuna tartar is recommended. I got the short ribs which were slow cooked in banana leaves… Amazing. Our small Suzuki 4×4 made it up the hill no problem.

The location and atmosphere is absolutely worth going, the food ( at least the ) not at all. Very overpriced for a very mediocre Cooked meal. But take a cocktail and enjoy the beautiful scenery

Its off the beaten path but so worth the drive. Atmosphere and views are stunning. Tuna tartare was probably the best ive had. Ribeye was bursting with flavor and perfectly cooked. All of the sides were top notch as well.

Simply the most beautiful restaurant I’ve been to in my life.
We came for the 3pm reservation and have a lovely dinner while the sun was still up. Then we stayed on the property for sunset while other guests began showing up for their 5pm reservations.
The food was exceptional, and the cocktails were great. We ordered the cowboy steak and half chicken.
All the staff were kind and wonderful. They made us feel welcomed and cared for the entire stay.
If you are in Nosara, this is a must visit. The road is a little steep to get up, but you’ll be just fine.
Also… if you do come for the 3pm reservation, please be courteous of others and get up when the reservation is over at 5pm. It is reservation only, so they need to turn the tables over. They have a beautiful property that you can sit at and walk around with drinks.

The view is the only reason to visit. The food is hit-or-miss. The pork ribs were decent, but the burger was bland and the fries were soggy. Beyond the food, the service was poor; we were neglected after sitting down and then uncomfortably pressured to tip three times during checkout. I wouldn’t recommend it.

The absolute best view you will ever have for dinner anywhere in the world! Beautiful place with an incredible ocean view. Food is delicious. Definitely make your reservation for 30-60 minutes before sunset. Incredible place! Bring bug spray for after the sun goes down. Not awful though. They also have some on hand.
Crazy drive to get up there (on top of a mountain). We had a land cruiser. I saw medium size buses bringing groups up though. I loved driving there.

What an experience! The place is located very high on the mountain, so getting there is an adventure, but definitely worth it. The service, food, and atmosphere were incredible. I would highly recommend it! Make sure to leave time to explore the property!

This restaurant was one of the highlights of our trip to Nosara, absolutely worth the drive. The outdoor setting is simply gorgeous and creates such a special atmosphere.
The food was excellent, and the service was truly amazing. The staff were attentive, friendly, and made the whole experience even more enjoyable.

We had a great experience at Coyol! We made a reservation for 5:30 but arrived at 5:00 to have drinks and enjoy the beautiful sunset—the atmosphere was fantastic. The road up is quite steep, but we had no trouble in our 4×4.
For dinner, we shared the tomahawk steak and the pork ribs. The tomahawk was good—not the best we’ve had, but still enjoyable. The pork ribs, however, were absolutely delicious—I think I actually preferred them over the steak! Overall, a great spot for good food and stunning views.
