The service was great. The serving size is extremely small for almost $6. The pricing is extremely high for an average product. For the prices they have there you are better off grabbing a pint from any of the supermarkets in Dover.

Friendly staff, always busy, service was alright, good Ice cream with alots choices for flavors, great shake, little to small portion for the prices. They also have ice ream for dog with treats on top. VERY GOOD FOR THE TASTE.
The thing I dont like it was the way they had those benches setup, not organized, not to many, the side building kind a mess/ dirty a lil, not enough benches, dangerous for those who has a little children because the parking lots and where the people wait on the line or seat enjoy they ice cream are in one so we couldn’t tell. I Wish its more organized, clean on the side building, maybe trim some plant there intead of bushes, wish they put the sign which area is for people going to ice cream place, area to park, or area for other places there.

This place just had an upgrade of paint, decor and staff uniforms. Not sure if it is under new ownership? Looks much better. Signs are easier to read. The portions are huge. Need a tiny tiny size for toddlers is my only complaint. Prices are pretty high, as much as a pint of ice cream at the grocery store. Overall, easy to park, easy to get to the window, and decent ice cream. Great activity for families. You can sit in your car, or outside on nice seating area.

Very disappointed. I Intended to order Dole Whip, but was told there was an issue with the Dole whip machine and it wouldn’t be ready for 1/2hr. I didn’t make a big deal out of it, and ordered Princess Twist instead (one of my favorites) Apparently, unknown to myself, there was also something wrong with the Princess Twist machine. First, when handed to me, the ice cream was not ‘twirled’ onto cone. It was a mess, ‘folded’ onto the cone. Second, my first lick almost pushed the ice cream off the cone – it was so soft. Third, after 2 or 3 licks my mouth was coated with ‘grit’. The consistency was not right, and the black raspberry ice cream was full of dry ‘powder’ (see picture). Lastly, I paid $5 plus tip for something I could not eat. Based on the consistency, texture, color and softness the employee serving the ice cream should have recognized there was an issue and informed me to choose another flavor. Instead part way home, I had to toss the cone as it was inedible.

Great spot!!! We liked every flavor we ordered and kept switching back and forth to share. We will definitely be back to try more, although my Dole whip was so good it will be tough to get anything else!

One of my favorite summer stops. Not only they have a big selection of flavors – 65 of hard serve, but they also offer soft serve, sherbet, sorbet, frozen yogurt, non sugar ice-cream, dole whip and others combinations, drinks… Definetly worth to stop and make your day more enjoyable.

Arrived today with one person in front of me. After I placed my order for a $10 sundae, I generously hit 25% tip on the tablet. That ended up being a bad decision. My order was a bit slow to be made to begin with, then the employees had problems making it. The espresso shots wouldn’t fit in the bowl with the ice cream. They worked to move all the items to a larger bowl which added more time.

After my order was allegedly completed they put it in the window without calling out my specific order number or the description of the sundae (I was standing right by the window eagerly awaiting my order and listening to every call out made by the employees) and all I heard were order numbers beyond mine. So it looked like the employees called out the incorrect number for my item so another customer swiped it up and walked away with it. Not his fault, not mine. Most sundaes look too similar to know if it’s right or wrong, so we trust the employees to do their due diligence. I stand there for 22 minutes in the hot sun waiting for my order then I’m asked what Im waiting for. I answer, my order…number 93 which has not been called. I mean, that’s why I was given a ticket with that number on it, right? So they remake it AGAIN. At this point, I just want water to cool off, I really don’t feel like having ice cream anymore. Once I get the order after close to 30 minutes, and take my first bite, I notice they put the wrong sauce on it. It’s hot fudge, not chocolate syrup like I ordered. I know because the fudge is warm and gelatinous. Not what I wanted. I couldn’t eat it all because I didn’t want this topping. I tossed it in the trash and left.

They had 3 tries and failed each time. I’d be curious how they respond to this review. Usually my order there is correct. I’ve been visiting them regularly lately. They’re always a little slow, but it’s somewhat made up by the quality of the ingredients. This last experience may be just that, the last. $12+ for a sundae that took 30 minutes and still not be right is just unacceptable. The manager should have done more than just apologize. Actions over words will yield better results. What should have happened was a full refund, and maybe even a gift card for a free future cone to ensure they retain me as a customer. This is why you shouldn’t tip up front.

Call before you go to make sure they are actually open. We went today, when it was cool and raining, and apparently the just decided to close. I’ve been in the Foodservice industry for 40 years. If you advertise you’re open, you’d better be open, or folks won’t come back. Poor business decision on their part. Dairy Queen gets my business now.
