Food mostly seems to be canned stuff.
The room itself is old fashion and good lookin with memories and tributes from the past. They do sit you down and give food to the table fast I admit but it all depends on if food being from scratch is a big deal for you. Netherless this is a cute spot if you are ever in the area.

The ribeye breakfast was a very filling and tasty breakfast special. The sunny-side up eggs were cooked well. The hash browns were very crunchy. I added a side of sausage links because I love having sausage with my breakfast. The steak was cooked well and had the perfect bite to it.

I love the Cowgirl Cafe. The food and service is excellent. They have all kinds of history here. I am super happy each time I eat here and I highly recommend their biscuits and gravy which are top notch. Thank you for serving us with such care and respect. I also really have enjoyed the expert care and service by Demi, the super awesome waitress who is always ready to smile and help me pick out awesome food to try each time I pass through this side of the country! Thank you very much!

Food was equally as good as the one I’ve been to in Paso Robales. Found the interior / exterior a bit campy…. Like lacking in all authenticity and desperately trying to rebrand the space as something other than a former fast food restaurant. Our waitress Demi was a rockstar and was single handedly crushing serving the whole dining room on her own…. While also winning the hearts and minds of my own children. Cheers! And will be back next time we’re in the hood.

Here is another weekend review as a brunch critique.

I always put this place on hold before coz I didn’t get the vibe everytime I drive by.

Today, finally I gave it a try. It has “The Pantry” experience if you sit in the counter. You can see the griddles sizzling.

Here goes my pancake, bacon and eggs review.

However, I’m quite disappointed with the following:

Pancake: dry and bland.
Bacon: saggy and not warm. They cook it in advance.
Eggs, they are fine though a little runny gor over-medium.

⭐️⭐️⭐️/5
There goes my honest review.

Came here with roommates for a traditional American breakfast. Lots of menu options for savory, sweet breakfasts and everything in between. All of us got some variation of their combo breakfast pictured below with eggs, a choice of meat and two french toasts. A cozy, themed atmosphere with kind servers. Lots of parking too.

Stopped here for brunch with my family while visiting my daughter in SLO. The food was delicious and had that “home made” feel to it. The biscuits and gravy were great, we just wished it had more sausage in it. Each plate was delicious and filling and everyone ate all their food. The service was good. Priced right for what you get. Clean and casual.

We hit up Cowgirl Cafe for our July 4th celebrations and had an awesome breakfast experience! I ordered scrambled eggs, sausage links, hashbrowns, and toast—all of which were delicious. The French toast, though a bit smaller than expected, was surprisingly filling and rich! The atmosphere was charming, with a cozy decor that added to the friendly vibe of the place. While some booths could use a refresh, the overall cleanliness of the restaurant was on point. I especially liked the open kitchen concept, which gave it that comforting ‘home-cooked meal’ vibe. Definitely a great spot for a satisfying breakfast with a welcoming ambiance!

I ordered the chicken fried steak and strawberry French toast with a side of links and biscuits and gravy instead of bread. The eggs and hash browns were good. The gravy here is unique, it’s some kind of blend with chili peppers so it has a spicy profile to it which is good but not sure if I’d want it every time. They should allow for a choice of traditional white gravy or the modified. The French toast was good, strawberries were fresh. Links were average, could’ve tasted better. I’d get the bacon or ham next time.
