I love the venue but the owner needs to book better DJs especially ones who don’t hate Oregon. Working with the right people, this would be much more of an amazing experience. The venue is vastly underutilized. Beautiful space with a big dance floor. The staff are very friendly. The food is tasty. Just need the music to match the fabulous vibe.

The lounge was pretty dead BUT this place is so cool and unique that it super didn’t matter. The music was fun and they have games and what not to really make this place a great time.

Incredible atmosphere, lovely funky people. The food was in credible inexpensive and great for bar food. The drinks are really good, and there’s a plethora of options for the DD. They have some very well maintained arcade games in the back, and the bathrooms always stay clean.

As a DJ for more years than i would like to admit… I have played more clubs than i want to admit… And i always told owners.
UNTIL THEY ACTUALLY DJ. They have no idea how to really run a club..
And i just found out recently my friend and owner of Cowfish….
IS A DJ!! THIS IS 10 years later. No explanation you got to just FEEL for yourself.

Danced all night, great drink list and deals! The owner isn’t like other bar owners. He’s grounded and wants to/ has created a safe place for everybody to be worry free & that nostalgia feeling we all crave for he offers. Shawn you’re amazing!

We popped in here because there wasn’t a huge line and glad we did! Wasn’t too crowded, but still plenty of ppl watching opportunity. Mixed ages, bathroom not too gross. Also, they have real loose leaf tea! So that was one fancy hot toddy!☺ staff were super nice and there’s a game room tucked to the side with pin all and pool. 100% will go again. Great vibes.

All of the bad rumors I’ve heard about the cowfish were confirmed last night. I’ve been told that the staff at the cowfish make people uncomfortable. My boyfriend and my friends were looking to have fun and dance but the bouncer said my boyfriend was too intoxicated to enter the bar. This was confusing because many of us were already intoxicated but he let us in. The bouncer ended up letting another man in who was clearly more intoxicated. This strange man ended up making my friend uncomfortable. The behavior we experienced from the bouncer was unprofessional and it felt like he was unfairly judging my boyfriend.

Idk if I’ve gone at the wrong times but every time I’ve been here there’s been hardly anyone dancing. I’ve been here on a Saturday night around midnight and still not really anyone dancing, so I don’t know when it gets busy. Their $4 everclear mixed shots are delicious though and the bartenders are chill
