It was our first time coming here because our kids craved for Vietnamese food and we want to try a new spot. The food here is good, it was at par with most of the places we’ve been to. We all enjoyed our food and the service staff checked on us from time to time so service is also good.
The atmosphere was a bit of a let down. I understand that there’s not much customers when we came in. Actually we’re the only customer by the time we left, but I wish the person that was on a call using her laptop was more considerate that there are customers, because she was loud that we can clearly hear their conversation.
Other than that, the food is good and service as well.

We ordered two soups for takeout and noticed there was only a very small portion of meat. My husband called the restaurant — not to complain — but simply to ask how many ounces of meat are normally included in one soup.
To our surprise, shortly after that, one of the staff members showed up at our door with two brand new soups. We were honestly blown away.
This is what true customer service looks like. The kindness, professionalism, and willingness to make things right without us even asking speaks volumes. We truly appreciate the care and will definitely be ordering again!

I ordered take out from Bloom due to the great reviews left. The one review with pictures left by Megan did leave me a bit worried. I still tried it anyways and it was delicious. All the other 4+ star reviews are definitely a more accurate rating of this restaurant.
I went back and looked more closely at the pictures uploaded by Megan and you can tell in the vermicelli bowl that the spring rolls have been picked out and the darker spots on the vermicelli are where pork used to be (the sauce on the pork changes the noodles white color). Not sure why someone would try to leave a review like this and try to alter the actual food portions but I felt the need to speak up after trying this place for myself. I posted photos that are not altered.

One of the best Vietnamese bistro restaurants I’ve had. Good value, conveniently located across shawnessy train station. I had pork chops & rice with Thai milk tea. I also tried their Vietnamese iced coffee and it was the right ratio. I would go back again.

I’m always on the hunt for a great banh mi sub in the city. I tried Bloom for the first time today. I got the lemongrass chicken sub and it was absolutely delicious. Great amount of filling, chicken was perfectly cooked and seasoned, and the bread had a nice crisp to the outside but still soft in the inside. It was also a great price for a banh mi.
I would highly recommend here for a banh mi. I’m excited to try other items from Bloom.

My husband and I stopped in because we had a craving for pho and wonton soup. It was the first time we had been there. Wow. Both soups were amazing. Made fresh and perfect for a cold day. The wontons had so much meat in it, we were shocked. They were also delicious.

Come here many times to eat in. The staff are friendly, and food is good.
Recently first time doing a takeout order for pork salad rolls only – took 15 minutes to prepare and ended up finding out at home that the shrimp ones were prepared.
Based on this I would not recommend takeout orders.

Very tasty food. Staff was super kind to split a rice bowl into two generous portions for the kids. Really enjoyed the Pho.One kid said he wanted to do slightly less stars because he wanted more spring rolls instead of any veggies
