Talk about yum! In town visiting from DFW and wanted to find a good breakfast place! Chose here due to the proximity to our hotel and the fact they had some “Mexican themed” dishes.

Atmosphere: Super cute! Very western. Restaurant is well kept and clean. The wait staff was also very friendly and informative about the menu.

Food: The food was actually surprisingly flavorful for what I’ve come to expect from towns like this. We ordered a variety of their dishes and we were all very impressed by the flavor and portions. Shout out to the Horchata. Better than most places back home.

All in all I definitely recommend giving it a try. Prices were reasonable for the portions and nothing was lacking in flavor. Some dishes are unique takes but doesn’t change the fact the food was good! It all goes to the same place in the end anyways. All I care about is how it taste going down!

I am in shock about our meal this morning. This is my second time. Everyplace deserves a second chance. 125 containers at Walmart costs 32.30. I was charged .75 cents for mine. I paid in cash and was charged a C&D fee of 3.5 a creation and development fee? or is it construction and development fee? WTH! The waitress thought it was a credit card fee. SO…. with the new owner nickel and diming everyone, not sure how long they will be in business. Oh yes, they also had no change. I guess the owner doesn’t provide the waitstaff with change. Let’s talk about the food. Mediocre at best. But I have gone back again and again to places that just have mediocre food. 3 of our four dishes were wrong in some way or another. None of us, all local will not come back. Good luck to the owners who do not seem to have a pulse on Prescott or its people. Hopefully the tourists will provide for you. This is not going to be a local staple/hangout for breakfast. Our. server did her best. I am hoping that she jumps ship and finds a place that will not be in the same line as Colts or Lone Star.

We have ordered take out here many times. Food is ALWAYS fantastic. Went and ate in today and was by far the worst service.

Waited 15-20 mins for our checks and to go boxes. My box was wet, idk if it was washed and sent to me as a reused container. When I asked for a container that wasn’t wet the server had such a fit that she threw the container across the server station ( so did she have to pay for that container or do you think they picked it up off the floor and washed it to give to another patron) and has something snotty to say about it-Which is highly unacceptable.

I’m so turned Off by the situation I think we will patron at any other breakfast spot, now that we know we have to pay for the to go boxes. I’d rather eat anywhere else.

Great food. My friend and I ordered our lunch off the breakfast menu, I ordered the Sonora Birria Hash and she ordered the biscuits and gravy. Both super tasty and generous portion sizes but not too big that we couldn’t finish. Would come here again next time I’m in town.

We had an excellent breakfast here about a month ago and really looked forward to returning to try their Mexican food for lunch. Service was excellent and friendly. The food was disappointing both in flavor and presentation. My enchiladas were supposed to come with a sour cream, cream cheese, cilantro sauce. It was not visible or tasted. The enchilada meat was dry and flavorless. Everything was highly over salted, I could not eat the rice or beans. The rice was runny and more like risotto. It was a real disappointing food experience after having enjoyed such a great breakfast there just a month ago. At the cost of eating out, we will go elsewhere in the future.

Our server Kayla was delightful, super friendly and attentive!! The portions were so generous we both took some home! And we love the rustic atmosphere! We’d highly encourage them to remove all of the remnants of the former restaurant and let everyone know that is now the Cowboy Kitchen. We’ll be back!!!!

My husband and I went for breakfast this morning, we were seated promptly and then never served, never acknowledged or even offered a drink. We sat for 15 min and watched everyone around us be promptly served. My husband advised the young man seating people we were leaving for not ever being acknowledged and he shrugged and said nothing. SHOCKED – we have enjoyed this establishment before and we are generous especially holiday weekends for gratuity. Not that they will care however, we will never attempt to patron this establishment – nor will we recommend- DISSAPOINTED

Yay! We were waiting for this place to open and were lucky enough to enjoy breakfast on opening day! Sandra was our server and she was fantastic! The hostess was super sweet and greeted us with a smile! We enjoyed omelets on our visit but can’t wait to return and try the lunch items next! What a great addition on Whiskey Row!!
