First time driving thru this town and wanted to try something local. I guess they just used to be a stand alone coffee shop down the road but now is inside the Prairie House in. What a cute place! You can sit on the lawn or patio enjoying the quietness of the little town with beautiful scenario
Great coffee and friendly staff!

Great service! The girls here were so nice and patient as we browsed the menu. Tried to affogato & white mocha and both were excellent. Their ice cream cones are one of our favorites to get when we come down from the MRC.

I like this place but they’re often closed when they are supposed to be open. It would be nice for accurate hours to be open, and kept.

Response to owner: Google indicates you are open until 5 on Sundays but I stopped in yesterday (and have tried other Sundays as well), and this doesn’t appear to be the case. I know there have been some other instances in the past with differences between the closing time posted online and when the cafe was open, but I don’t have an exact date to reference.

Yes, this is an amazing coffee shop. I love the decor and the casual outside tables. I wish we had one of these closer to Portland!

I used to really like drinks from here but twice in the last two weeks Ive gone in and ordered an iced almond milk caramel macchiato. Twice in two weeks immediately after taking the first sip i can tell macchiato was made with cows milk. As someone with a severe dairy allergy and many other food allergies the lack of precautions with cross contamination is concerning.

Just passing through on our way from Eugene, Or. back to Edmonton, AB, Canada.
What a treat! An amazing house conversion. So very comfortable inside with your choice of tables, loungers, sofas, games tables. Internet was fast and free.
The young man making coffee was training a young lady and, listening to his instructions, it was clear he was passionate about his coffee perfection. The coffees and snacks we ordered were world class. Truly. They rival the coffee in Melbourne, Australia, which is the best coffee on the planet, as far as I am concerned.
Not just recommended as a stop for travelers, this is a destination!

Update: I stopped for a decaf coffee on my way out of town today. What I got was definitely not decaf. I’m stuck at a store in a town more than an hour from my house and hours from my destination, waiting for the caffeine to wear off so I can drive again. Decaf means DECAF. I tried to give you my business again but self-preservation says I can’t.

For people who can tolerate caffeine, this is a good and friendly place to stop.

We stopped for coffee and sandwiches on our way out of town. The young woman taking the order clearly wasn’t paying attention. First ordered was a smoothie with whip cream. A full minute later she asked if we wanted whip cream on that. I asked for cinnamon in my mocha. It wasn’t stirred but it was in there. My husband asked for a white chocolate mocha. It wasn’t. We aren’t even sure of the flavor. And the sandwiches. We ordered 2. One with ham and one with sausage. The sausage sandwich was handed out the window as well as the drinks. The young woman seemed puzzled when we didn’t move and asked if there was something else. We said another sandwich. She said, “Oh, there were two.” And made another sausage sandwich. Sigh. Which I don’t think we were charged for. Distracted service costs the business money. Literally going out the window. Not to mention I probably won’t be back for awhile even though it is the closest coffee kiosk. Service was so slow the person behind us left.
Just some information to think about.
