Food was much better than I expected at an airport restaurant! Attentive, friendly service too. We had grilled salmon that my daughter inhaled. It came with yummy grilled veggies on the side. Mac and cheese with bacon was another solid choice with real strips of crispy bacon on top. Mushroom and polenta was ok-needed more salt.

Tables are super close, but to be expected in the airport. We shared a quesadilla. It was decent; nothing to write home about. Pico de gallo is devoid of flavor. Salsa is meh. Service was top notch as was the size of my second 9 oz pour of Pinot Grigio, which was decent as well. It is noisy if all tables are full. There’s also limited room for suitcases, but again, it’s an airport restaurant so…Overall, a decent place to kill time in terminal 4 near gate B22. Sit by the window for views of planes leaving and arriving, but don’t expect a peaceful experience.

They say avoid airport restaurants, but I disagree, especially here at Cowboy Cíao! The food was amazing, and the service was great! The waitress was very friendly and polite. We were seated at a table, and we took our time to dine. We were not rushed out. Recommended. 5/5

Was seated quickly, waited an extra few minutes for a server. The waiter was very nice and food came out quickly. It was delicious to say the least.

The food was surprisingly good! The only downside was there wasn’t much chicken on the quesadilla but aside from that the food was pretty decent! Our waitress was excellent and they make a really good margarita & expresso martini!

I don’t know what everyone expects from a full service airport restaurant. The shrimp polenta was really good (with hot sauce, for me). The two skinny white bald guys manning the bar – both in matching berets? chic hats?- are charismatic, excellent hosts constantly checking in on their diners. Do yourself a favor IF you’re a solo travel and sit at the bar. If you’re traveling as a family, and/or you’re stressed and rushed, do us all a favor and go to McDonald’s two stores over. And if you’re some sort of culinary savant, please also do us all a favor and just head to your gate. You can get food at your final destination.

I hate writing negative reviews, but feel compelled to warn people. The server was very slow. I asked if the guacamole was really made from avocados. He said yes. It was quite clearly out of a packet. I waited forever for my cheeseburger. This is what I got. Really? Look at the tomato. Just sad. It was cooked well though.
Those two dishes (burger and chips/guac) + diet coke = $40. Yikes. For that price I would expect th food quality to at least be on par with average pub grub.
Phoenix Sky Harbor has terrible food options. They still might be one of the better ones. But it’s really pretty bad.

The food was delicious. We had the Turkey Melt and the Stetson Chopped Salad. The arugula was delicious and the sandwich was substantial and cooked to perfection. We were at the airport with not many options, so you wouldn’t expect the atmosphere to be great. We were crammed in and sat right by the entrance. Service was a bit slow, but given they have no real competition, we were pleasantly surprised how good the food was.

This was a refreshingly quiet place to stop for something to eat in terminal 4 (next to gate B22) of the Phoenix Airport. It wasn’t very busy (12:30 – lunch time). The waiter was attentive, and the food was seriously wonderful! Our wait between ordering and getting our food was short. It is not inexpensive by any standard, but worth it because the flavor is great. I got the Ciao burger, my husband got the fried chicken sandwich. Both came with fries, which were also good. Everything was made to order and served hot. Weirdly enough this place does not have straws, but they do have a full bar for those who want that. There is also a small grab and go next to the restaurant. I would stop here again if I were traveling through Phoenix.

Avoid this place for breakfast. The owner and cook, he can not be a chef, should be embarrassed to have served and charged me $20 for such garbage. Even the waiter said they were forced to serve breakfast so they got the cheapest and blandest food they could get.
At best, this was the breakfast I passed up at the hotel. Everything was pre-prepared and served out of warmers. The eggs were microwaved. The food came out in about two minutes after ordering and It could not have been freshly made. I was served a processed sausage patty and baked or deep fried potatoes. The English muffin was probably cooked an hour ago and was dry and hard.
I walked all the way from the A gates to sit down and relax before my flight and this was a disaster. I went to McDonald’s after to get something worth eating.
The service was unenthusiastic and there was no attention after the service. And I had to go to the bar and ask for a refill.
Sorry to the Owner, but I read a review that said best airport food ever and it was certainly not the case for my visit. You should be embarrassed to serve that.
