We are the first Cowboy Chicken in Oklahoma, and we are in the Memorial Square Shopping Center. We love being a part of this great community as a member of both the Oklahoma City and Edmond Chambers of Commerce and by supporting our friends over at Camp Fire Heart of Oklahoma to help educate children through outdoor education. Good comfort food. The chicken was a tad salty. Too many restaurants add way too much salt and not seasoning. It would’ve been better with cardamom, celery seed, some oregano, and a little lemon pepper. The rest was good. Oh and too much onions on the salad.

The chicken was decent overall, but the breast meat was a bit overcooked and dry. The mashed potatoes were almost cold, and honestly the gravy was the only thing that really helped save them.
That said, the Ranchero beans were excellent—easily some of the best I’ve had and definitely the standout side.
The old-fashioned lemonade tasted watered down. I even noticed another customer pour hers out and switch to something else, which pretty much confirmed it wasn’t just me.
As for the dining area, it wasn’t terrible, but the floors looked like they hadn’t been mopped in a few days. It made me notice the overall cleanliness, which felt a little neglected—though I’ve definitely seen worse.
Overall, not bad considering the price. Some items were hit or miss, but there were a couple of highlights. With better consistency and a little more attention to cleanliness, it could be a solid spot.

This is not a high end restaurant. Some area needs updates. Luke warm on side dishes. Chicken is moist, it’s a little salty for my taste bud, I can’t smell or taste wood flavor in the rotisserie chicken, no different from the store bought. Sorry, disappointed!

Retire the Colonel, there’s a new cowboy in town! First time trying Cowboy Chicken and I was really impressed. The chicken tenders were perfectly seasoned and full of flavor. The mac n cheese tasted homemade and the mashed potatoes and gravy hit the spot. Their holiday menu looks amazing too with great food at a great price!

I don’t live in OKC, so I used Goggle to find food. Since im a traveler I’m willing to drive for good food, do I drove feom downtown (approx 30mis w traffic), to a nite in the for saying no rotisserie chicken and many other items not available today. Disappointed but I guess that can always happen. The veggie sides looked appealing and I love veggies so lets make the most of the drive…. twice baked potatoes really have no seasoning, the street corn has a ton of flavor and the okra is fried (hard to mess up). Pretty confident I won’t return, but the Google photos really sell the place!

I’ve been here a few times – once with work colleagues & other times with family. I like the value we get for getting family platters & sides. Easy way to get it all in front of you family style. I like the Mexican street corn, but it can be a bit watery. The pulled pork is really good but the BBQ can be tangy so be prepared. The mac & cheese is more on the white cheddar side & still really good. The parking lot always has spots & the staff are helpful.

I usually order this on doordash and it’s always great. I decided to go in today and I got the Laredo chicken sandwich, okra, and cucumber tomatoe salad. Cecy (both of them) were very helpful and gave great customer service. They do a great job! You can tell they have a great team here. Very impressed and will be stopping in again.

This place was amazing with lots of great food to choose from and many options. I got the pic three and with 2 sides. The Mac and cheese was very tasty with creamy cheese, the sweet potato was very moist just like the chicken pieces. Menus is very reasonably priced. Lots of drink options too. Staff is very friendly. Definitely coming back again!

Food is fresh and delicious get the hot honey dipping sauce. Mashed potatoes and gravy great. Side salad fresh and delicious. Banana pudding is the best I’ve had in Oklahoma, I said what I said.
