Covered Bridge Creamery is a real treat for Long Grove and the residents are lucky to have this gem. I was told by one of the owners that they get jam-packed in the summer as does the rest of the downtown with all the festivities.
The Latina lady working that evening was very kind and it’s that type of warm & inviting customer service that keeps you coming back and not to mention it is Chocolate Shoppe which is some of the finest ice cream you’ll ever have.
Not sure when they’ll reopen, guessing in the spring when the outside slowly starts turning green again and the weather starts warming up again as well.
Excellent ice cream at still reasonable prices in a cozy rustic setting with outdoor seating as well. I try my best to support local and I wish the owner(s) continued success & prosperity.
Response to owner… your website last week said you were open until 10 pm. So sorry I didn’t get a screen shot because you’re not being truthful. Wow! Security cameras to review tapes…. and she was not courteous in the least!!! Why else would we have been there if not to purchase a product from you??? Small business not run well in the least in my opinion. Will take my business to OTHER well run small businesses and there are plenty others!!!!
My favorite so far is the hot fudge sundae and my pup Mr. Troika enjoyed his pup cup too!
Wonderfully rich ice cream, great flavors, and lovely area (downtown historic Long Grove). This place was named best ice cream in Illinois and I wouldn’t argue with that. Great ice cream!
