This is a place kind in the middle of no where, where usually tourist go there. The atomsphere is really good. But, I would say food was okay. I order stuffed meat pizaa, which was good, which was kind of pricecy for me, compared to closes towns pizza prices. Overall, considering the covienence, it was okay for a tourist to fill with food to continue to next adventures.

We walked here from North Shore Camping Company. It is not a huge restaurant but we were able to sit at the bar. The service was decent. We were surprised by the beer selection and loved the Galactic Face Slap by Ursa Minor Brewing. My wife ordered the Philly and enjoyed it. I ordered the chicken and waffles and was a little disappointed. I probably shouldn’t have ordered a southern dish in Minnesota…. Next time I would probably try the pizza.

Came on a perfect fall afternoon and ate the best club sandwich I’ve ever had. The kids said the pizza was also great, but the club sandwich is an absolute showstopper. (Skip the tomato soup and grilled cheese.)

Got food to go. Waitress was very helpful with plates napkins and extra sauce. Was extremely disappointed when we were eating that both burgers we ordered were completely raw inside. Definitely not worth the $20 we paid per burger. Will not be going back.

We picked up food before heading out for a camping night — and wow, it was the perfect dinner in the middle of nowhere!
1. Tree Hugger Pizza — olive oil and herb crust, tomatoes, mozzarella and fresh basil. Every bite was bursting with flavor — yummmmmm doesn’t even cover it!
2. Basket of Tots — crispy, golden and just perfect. ✨
Packed perfectly, stayed fresh and made our outdoor dinner feel extra special.
Highly recommend grabbing from here if you’re heading out or just want fresh, feel-good comfort food!

Unfortunately, it was the only place open while it was snowing, and we didn’t want to drive too far, so we dealt with it even after reading other reviews. I would have to agree with the bad ones. The food was not good enough to be priced where it was. I ordered the club sandwich, which consisted of about 5 pieces of thin deli meat and 1 piece of lettuce. The service was mediocre, and the server spent more time on her phone instead of answering the ringing phone at the desk. We had also tried calling to make sure they were open before going and got ignored. It was not busy while we were there, maybe about 3 other tables of 2. The positives, the bathrooms were clean, tots were good, and cute building.

Family of 4 visited for a late lunch. Not too busy. Staff was friendly- even brought out a sample of their Truffle fries to try before we ordered them (super tasty). Floors a little sticky.

A total dining disaster. The pizza was horrible tasted like a Frozen or preformed pizza dough with custom ingredients added upon order, but ours was cool (cheese hard and not even melty) and the dough/crust was undercooked when it came out. Our waitress offered to have it reheated and when it came back it was glued to the pan, total fail. The burger was good, but they forgot to put the cheese. The Server tried to fix things on the ticket but overall we left hungry and very disappointed.

We had a delicious meat eaters pizza – flavorful sauce and heavy on cheese. The view of Lake Superior is stunning and the service was attentive. Great place to stop for a meal and relax.
