The service was awesome The server and bartender were friendly carried good conversation and provided a spectacular experience. The reason that I only gave four stars instead of five was that the fried foods were a bit greasy. I believe they need to run their fryers at a little higher temperature than they are.

A group of friends and I usually come in twice a month for the Catfish special. We unfortunately, will no longer be doing so, especially after our most recent dining experience. The biggest reason, is the severe lack of customer service. The food quality can be hit or miss, but customer service plays a major role in a guest’s overall experience. They usually have the same two servers and you never know if they’ll be in a great mood, or an awful one. You’re lucky if your server stops by once, or if you’re really lucky, twice. Getting a drink refill is a hassle most times. Getting your check takes longer than your entire dining experience a majority of the time. Not only has my group experienced issues, we’ve witnessed many other people have similar, or worse experiences. It’s exhausting, especially as a repeat customer, having to ask for bare minimum service. I hope there’s some improvements in the future so that the many people who enjoy the food at The Cove, can also enjoy their dining experience as well.

Food was excellent we had the finger steaks which we used to have back in the seventies. So it was nostalgic to come back and have them again. The potatoes planks are a little different than they used to be but still delicious. Service was excellent. Was great to go and revisit Our dating memories.

We went to Cove to support Tom Wray as he is a friend. The service was great the atmosphere was great. As for the food , I am a 75 year old man and remember the cove been there many times even my daughters went there for years. I had the finger steaks and planks I am sorry to say they were terrible . But as I said it brought back many memories.

We finally stopped in for lunch! What a great place! As soon as you walk in you will understand why this is such a great place! Everyone working here is very inviting. Walking through the bar the wall is lined with cozy booths and they were all full of people who were having such a great time! We pulled up and tucked ourselves in to the bar seats at the end of the bar and were instantly greeted by big hello’s and smiles from our bartenders! They are very attentive and know how to make you laugh! We ordered the Calamari sticks, Pu-Pu for two with the chicken gizzards, oysters, and piglets, as well as the patty melt. Everything was DELICIOUS!!!! We will be back! Thank you guys for making our first time in so wonderful and delicious!!!

Attempted to enter the building @ 4:55pm for Monday $1 Taco Night (as we have done before with our daughter) and was met at the entrance by a waitress who obviously failed “How to be Nice to People 101” – She implicitly denied us entry and service because our daughter is too young (told us to read the sign on the door) – We kindly tried to explain to her our confusion as we have been there with her before.
