Definitely worth a drive to Delaware. Small spot with well priced, absolutely delicious food. From the owner of Veritas in Columbus. Excellent and funny service from Melissa. Lobster bisque, oyster po boy, scallops, spicy mac and cheese, potato puffs, and mussels

We enjoyed our experience at Cove. It’s a small place and we didn’t have reservations. We sat at the bar. Anna was the bartender, server, and more. She was great. The lobster bisque was great. The calamari was great too. We enjoyed the cilantro dip that came with it. The seafood broil was ok. We would not get it again. For the price it was very average. Overall we enjoyed our time there. We loved Anna, the drinks, and the appetizers.

At first we were a bit confused by the menu but as items that we ordered began arriving we quickly settled in. The cocktails were great, the staff were helpful and kind, and the food was very good and pretty inspiring. Try the pistachiocello… so unique and worth it.

Excellent all around. We tried a little of everything, favorites were the mussels, lobster roll, and crab tostada. The potato puffs are a treasure.
Drinks were also lovely, we were happy to see several callbacks to Speck and enjoyed the new items as well.
Service and staff were great as it always.
All really impressive for a restaurant that just opened and another exciting “incubator” restaurant for Delaware, worth the trip from anywhere in the Columbus area and beyond.

Everything we ordered was wonderful. Cerviche, calamari, soft shell crab sandwich, crab dip with Texas toast, wine & a pop. I had enough crab dip & half of my crab sandwich left over for another meal. As others have noted, it is a little pricey, but certainly in line with other nice places with great food. Service was excellent & the staff was very courteous. Would recommend reservations for a Saturday/Sunday nite. They were kind enough to squeeze us in this time, but very busy. Seating is pretty tight, since it is a small place. We will go back!

Our second time here. This little place is a hidden gem in Delaware. Great food and ambiance. We had lobster bisque to share, then a lobster roll and mussles and clam linguine. Great drinks too. Expensive for just a regular night but well worth for a higher end outing.

Our server went through the full menu — she was fantastic! Our cocktails were perfect. The food was amazing, but portions were large. We have another meal in the refrigerator for tomorrow! We’ll be back soon with friends.

….What the other lady said about “is this heaven?”

Seriously, though. I’ve eaten at nearly all the fine dining options in central ohio and this is the best (personally for me with my palate and likes) that I’ve had in YEARS. I gave the lobster bisque a shot but it’s normally disappointing everywhere else because it’s usually too heavy and not enough lobster. This was superb. The lobster rolls are the best I’ve had. Drinks are amazing. Boiled peanuts are delicious. Everything is SO GOOD.

This place hit Delaware about a year ago. I could write a ton, but will break it down as short and sweetly as possible. A nice little spot from the mind behind Veritas (as someone who was a chef, restaurant owner and consultant for over 20 years all over the US, easily the best chef driven restaurant in Columbus, bar and food-wise). What a treat. Menu changes here and there which I love, catering to the seasons. The oysters with the vinegarette foam are the best variation of oysters I’ve had. Food, always on point, cooked with obvious skill. Anna behind the bar is amazing!!! She wraps up the experience with a bow and I’ll never sit anywhere other than the bar because of her. I might kick myself for letting this little secret out, but ask her about the house made pistachio chello. Best to sip for desert. Party in your mouth, everyone’s invited. I say I might kick myself because while I’d like to be selfish and keep it all to myself.. they deserve as many visits as they can get. Cheers!
