We were lucky to find this place on a Wednesday afternoon. Beautiful view with a calm relaxing atmosphere. The trout deep was excellent and the Covalt Fries were pretty good. Michelle made sure we understood our choices and the things to visit in the community. If we keep coming to the Cincinnati area on an annual basis, we will keep coming here.

May be an overlooked roadside stop but not one to sleep on. Truffle fries, burgers, and a rotating tap. Super friendly service. The tell is the number of golf carts in the parking lot lets you it’s a local favorite.

This place was a great find, on our way from downtown to Milford. It was right next to the river with an excellent view from the outdoor deck, but the interior was awesome as well. I had the patty melt, and my wife had the chicken wrap. The patty melt was moist with the onions and cheese blending well. The burger was cooked perfectly, and the bread was buttery good. My wife said that her chicken wrap was the best she ever had. Next time, we’ll love to sit by the river. There are other items still left to try.

I think the food was too expensive. $11.50 for a patty melt with no side. The first sandwich my daughter chose, the Italian, was unavailable because they were out of meat. I think it’s a better place for happy hour and appetizers. It’s a very small place and it gets crowded at happy hour. I don’t drink alcohol, so it’s a no for me. Restrooms are separate from the main building. I didn’t use so I don’t know what they are like.

Cincinnati has a wealth of good burger places. Covalt Station could easily become a favorite. Friendly talkative staff, entertaining atmosphere with many treasures and mementos displayed, honest good food, and clean to boot.

We haven’t been here since they originally opened, as our original impression was it’s good, but nothing too special or unique. Tonight we decided to give it a try again. It was crowded and they sat us outside on their patio on a picnic table bench. Service was somewhat slow, and they said an unexpected rush caught them off guard and they were not staffed properly. However, the server passed us on several occasions and didn’t even acknowledge us or say I’ll be with you in a minute. That would have made a difference knowing that we had been seen. We ordered the smoked trout dip. Although tasty, no smoke flavor at all, therefore it was good, but our expectations wanted it to be great. We decided to share the Italian, and it left us with similar impressions. Good, nothing out of the ordinary, but it wasn’t a destination sandwich. We also ordered a side of fries, oddly enough, we were most impressed by the french fries, thin, crisp, and deep fried perfectly. We also ordered a couple of cocktails, tasty, good but nothing out of the ordinary.

This little place is an absolute delight! Our server Michele was so kind and down to earth. She may have been the best part of our visit next to the excellent wine selection. The food was delicious and the perfect amount. No ridiculous sized portions and lots of locally sourced food. Do yourself a favor and stop in!

Covalt Station is a true hidden gem! I had one of the best burgers I’ve ever eaten here. The proportions were spot on—perfect bun-to-meat ratio—and the toppings were simple but absolutely perfect. Having pickles, onions, and mustard on the table was a great touch that let me customize my burger just the way I like it. The Covalt fries were an excellent accompaniment, crispy and delicious. If you’re a burger lover, this spot is a must-try! I’ll definitely be back.

Based on the reviews I was not excited to try this place. Menu looked limited, service was supposed to be poor, not thrilling. Thank goodness those reviews were completely wrong! First, the dollar bills all over the walls and the general theme is cozy, quirky, and fun. Our server was darling and could not have been nicer or more helpful. She recommended the Covalt salad which was delightful! My friend got the black bean burger which she loved. We split a truffle fry order which was huge we couldn’t even finish it, they were seriously amazing fries!!! Our waitress also recommended the margarita which was also a delight. We had an awesome time, it was so fun and we can’t wait to visit again!!!!!! Don’t hesitate, just go! If I had any criticism I would suggest changing up the salad, mix the arugula with a butter blend lettuce, a whole salad of arugula is kind of a lot of arugula but I really enjoyed it either way.
