Let me start off by saying that I am not one to give a bad review (unless I feel the need to) tonight was not great..
My party of 9 had reservations for 7 PM; We did not get seated until 7:45. The place was packed, but, we called ahead of time (couple days ago) to make sure we could be accommodated and they said yes. We arrived and had to wait at the bar. We were finally seated, but instead of apologizing, our waitress sat us and left. (Again, don’t get me wrong, I could see they were busy and understaffed as there was only one waitress for the whole floor) but the place is a shoebox and there was only 5 other tables in there. We did not see our waitress again unit about 8:15. She again did not apologize, just asked for a drink order. Some of our party was ready to order at this point (we had plenty of time to look at the menu) and she literally said to us “No, I have other tables”
I thought that was a little crazy, considering that all the other tables had food and or drinks on the tables and we were the last table to order. So she leaves, comes back again and still does not take our food order. We’re sitting there waiting still, she finally comes back again and takes our order. We did not revive our food until well over 9pm. We had to ask for drinks and for our salad plates. My boyfriends order was wrong, my fathers food did not come out for at least 7 minutes after everyone else’s were out. We ended up having to ask the bartender for sodas because we didn’t see her. Our food was delicious, service was terrible. I work in the industry myself, but this was really rough. Again, I get they were short staffed, but our waitress was not personable at all and did not try to be.
Unfortunately, I don’t think anyone in our party will dine here again, but for what it’s worth, the food was delicious.

We showed up at about 2.30pm today, sat ourselves at the bar. There was 1 other couple there. Eventually a group of 4 came in, and another couple. There was 1 or 2 seats to our right that were empty. We ordered cheese steak, lobster bisque, and clam strips. 1 beer each. Then, after food was delivered we each ordered another beer. The bartender seemed to be in a hurry to turn our seats over, he offered us boxes to take out before we were half done. I told him i would finish my cheesesteak there. Finally, with about 1.5″ of beer still in my bottle, we were asked to leave, because some people showed up and wanted our bar seats. Oh well. Chugged the last of my beer and Ill spend my $ elsewhere in the future. We were leaving the parking lot around 3.30, so we were only there about an hour, maybe a few minutes more. I was never asked to leave a bar or restaurant before. It was very weird. I didnt say anything, why bother? Its not worth the effort, its just weird. Especially since i still had about 1.5″ of beer at the bottom of my bottle. I wont go back. The food was okay, but the cheesesteak was salty. The lobster bisque was okay but not chunks. The clam strips were okay.
This is a shame.

Hello, we were here tonight with friends. This is not city foo foo place. This is a down home country restaurant. Atmosphere was loud and fun. Food and prices were great. Our food did take a bit but Maggie our waitress was doing her best to entertain us and make the time pass. Unfortunately, waitresses have minimal control over the kitchen but we know she tried.

I have been here three times in the past year or so and I have to say I have had a consistently great time each visit. I think they do like if you have a reservation, but we’ve also walked in with a party of 4 and been fine.
I love the atmosphere here, it’s like a warm cozy home and you’re hanging with friends & family. No need to change anything about it!
The service we got in October for my dad’s birthday was so attentive and wonderful, thank you to Deidre, and Kenny for taking such awesome care of us. From steak to lobster, your portion size for the cost is always a killer value.
I’ve learned that my fellow locals think you need patience to eat here, and they whine about the wait times, but they must not be in good company and in a rush cause I see no problem at all with the volume of business they have and the time from when you order until your food comes.

Great food, service, friendly atmosphere and price. We all had drinks, appetizers and meals! Enjoyed time with friends and staff was wonderful with conversation too!

Did not even get to sit. Place was empty and the cranky waitress ask about reservation. Made you feel like we were bother and inconveniencing her. So we left.

They need a new bartender his service time is horrible. Absolutely no reason a waitress should have to apologize for a bartender’s service. Meal was very good except the green beans (yuck canned). Breaded cheese balls highly recommended. Price was definitely fair.
