The pork belly appetizer was a standout: tender with a delicate crispness along the edges, its savory richness melting against a subtle sweetness. In contrast, the fried clams delivered a satisfying crunch, perfectly golden and briny, evoking the comfort of coastal dining.
Service was equally impressive—swift, polished, and warm, striking that rare balance of efficiency and genuine hospitality. Altogether, the evening felt less like a simple meal and more like a carefully orchestrated experience.
For my dinner, I ate their popular pan seared scallops ALTHOUGH I was offered to get them blackened which is not listed on the menu. It was amazing. The blackened seasoning added this scrumptious crust without taking away the integrity of the scallop. I also fell in love with the risotto which had artichoke hearts within.
What really bothered me was the rude attitude from the security staff. He was not just unkind but also quite verbally aggressive. When I tried to ask why the other women weren’t charged, he said something to the effect of, “Only customers dining don’t have to pay.” But no one ever asked me if I was there to eat or just grab a drink, so it felt pretty unfair.
It felt like there was a clear bias in how they were treating different customers. I watched as he picked and chose who got in easily, and it left me feeling discriminated against. It’s disappointing when a place prioritizes some customers over others without any clear reasoning. I really wanted to enjoy my time there, but this experience left a sour taste in my mouth. I hope they reconsider how they handle their entrance policies in the future.
When I questioned it, instead of explaining like a normal human, he started yelling at me in front of everyone, making a huge scene, and basically told me to “pay or leave.” Super unprofessional and straight-up disrespectful. It was so bad that another guy (maybe the owner) had to come over and tell him to calm down.
Only THEN did they bother to mention that if you’re eating dinner there’s no cover. Why wasn’t that said up front? Instead, I got treated like trash at the door while others walked right in for free.
The whole experience left a bad taste before we even sat down. I don’t appreciate being treated differently from other customers or being spoken to so aggressively. Management really needs to train their staff on professionalism and consistency.
The private room provided a peaceful space for reflection and conversation. The food was absolutely delicious. From the appetizers to the dessert, every item was flavorful and satisfying.
Overall, the restaurant made a difficult day much more bearable, and I can’t thank them enough for their kind and thoughtful service. It’s a place I’ll definitely return to for future meals, and I highly recommend it for anyone looking for great food and outstanding service.
