I want to hear to eat & unlike the other courtyards that I know, and love, this place had people smoking cigarettes that smell like nasty cigarettes inside and I don’t want to be eating my food, paying $20 for a meal and then oops it smells like cigarettes everywhere. It is a low key place. We heard the band Phase 2 play . They were great!
I had a shrimp po’ boy, fried mushrooms, and a side salad. Bring cash because my card was charged $35 and not $31.10 on my debit card. I didn’t feel like going back to dispute it. I would go back despite the overcharge. They have pool tables on one side and people had their poolsticks, so competition looked serious !! A good time was had by all.

I have been coming to this bar for many years. Joseph, who runs the bar, primarily during the day when I get off work, refuses to serve me anything but beer. Not because I have done anything to get thrown out because I only come during happy hour, but because I complained that his serving of Jager to another Chris is always a larger serving than others. Once I mentioned this, he said I wasn’t in “the same category of Chris”…I suppose because I drink a cheaper beer and can’t afford to tip what he does. He is now asking others not to serve me anything but beer to new employees like a girl who was just hired from a bar who has served me the shot for years. This is biased to the largest extent and I am not treated this way at any other bar in the nearing 4 cities. My complaint is valid and personal to him only and though I come to this bar for more of a peaceful place after a serving time in my job because your wings are the best in the city, he even refuses to serve me those shots that others often offer to buy me because we’re friends. What’s up with that?

Sat around 10 minutes waiting for someone to take a drink or food order, and all the bartenders just looked at me, looking at them, and serving everyone around me. It wasn’t anything personal towards me, just inattentive or oblivious who knows. Im sure they would have gotten to me eventually but im hungry and thirsty after a long day of work, and there’s 100 places to get some wings and a beer.

Food was delicious. Fried oysters are a cornmeal base. The corn nuggets can come with honey mustard and it’s delicious! The lemon chicken traditional wings were fire. Cocktails were great. Service was slammed with so many tables and continuous servicing but he held his own. The starter band was hit or miss. The actual band was talented and a enjoyable experience to hear.
It felt a little off when someone I didn’t know was taking pictures of us. Although I took the ones below but I was trying to get the band: they sounded great!
I would definitely eat there again.

Hard to have a conversation. People had to go outside to use their phones due to the sound levels. It’s a private club so anyone who does not like smoking would not enjoy it there. Service and food was delicious and will bring you back for more.
