A family run business for over half a century! Excellent fresh seafood. They also own their own fish market just a few doors down….so you know you’re getting the freshest possible. I had the fried Seafood platter $27. Clams, scallops, shrimp, fish, French fries, coleslaw. Everything was done right. Worth seeking out if you’re in the area. Street parking only.

Fish Market with a Restaurant next door (a bit to the right – look for the blue awning). The fresh seafood was GREAT!! Really big portions too, good deal for the prices. Lowkey like twice the size you’d expect for the price. Family of Four split 2 specials and a side order. Not many tables, pretty quiet but super friendly staff. Seems like a place locals would frequent. Parking is rough – bring quarters – but worth it

The best tartare sauce I have ever had. The fish and chips were exquisite and the place has a lovely homely atmosphere.

Stopped in from out of state to try a lobster roll. The roll was a traditional hotdog bun that was toasted nicely. This roll had lobster dressed lightly with Mayo and a little old bay seasoning I’m thinking. The lobster itself was tender and plentiful but chunks were small suggesting they use smaller lobsters. At $29 for the roll I’d expect a larger lobster to really make a statement. The roll came with an order of fries which was not necessary maybe make it an option or add on and lower the price by a couple bucks. I prefer buttered lobster rolls which is an individual preference I know.

Family restaurant where everything is made from scratch, the coleslaw, the tartar sauce, the fish cakes. They have their own seafood shop. Cannot find a fresher, better value anywhere. Can be crowded at lunchtime….for good reason!

As part of a local seafood market, Courthouse offers good value seafood meals. While everything is fairly basic, their fish and chips deal under $10 is certainly worth getting. I usually like getting the seafood platter which includes the fried scallops, jumbo shrimp, clams, and the scrods. Their coleslaws are a bit too sweet for my taste, but the quality of the seafood definitely compensates for it.

Found this small shop for our first seafood meal in Boston and were not disappointed. Food was excellent and person taking order was kind and helpful.
