I am happy we found this gem in Hillsboro. The potato skins, trashed wings, burgers, potato soup of the day and even the garden salad was great! It was a relaxed atmosphere, the staff were pleasant and the price was reasonable. We will definitely be back!

Me and my wife have been to the CH several times.. The service was good the food fall short just a. Bit. I got a new York strip that was not the most tender but was edible. My wife’s burger was pretty good. We both had fries and they were not done all the way some were cool in the middle and some were far from crispy

First time going there. Food was amazing; tasted great, and definitely looked appetizing. The restaurant’s atmosphere was warm and inviting. Also, the staff was very friendly and polite; and I received my meal in no less than fifteen minutes. It does also have an atmosphere of being more well-mannered as a customer, rather than being a place that feels like you can be a little loud sometimes.

A nice, local watering hole that is smoke free upstairs and smoking downstairs.
Good prices on drinks and food with attentive service. Portions on plates seemed of nice size. Everything looked good in presentation coming out of the kitchen.
Dining room and bar upstairs appeared very clean. I did not make it to the restroom. I would definitely come back.

Went with a party of 12, sat on the patio. service was very slow, many of the orders were either wrong or cold. Never had this problem there before. Usually food is very good, staff very friendly, Everyone was served at different times, so only 1/3 of us were eating together at any one time. Server seemed overwhelmed. Both things i ordered were wrong, but it took SO long to get them. I dare not have them take them back & try again. Was really disappointed, I really wanted my family to like this place.

I am updating my review. I went back there with a friend. There was a meatloaf sandwich on the menu. I wanted meatloaf and mashed potatoes. The chef made it for me and boy was it good!! My friend had pizza. She said it was kind of salty.
Previous review: As another reviewer said there was a strange smell. I think it was a cleaning product. I would give this place 2 1/2 stars. The server was really nice, but the food was disappointing. I had a taco salad. The shell tasted bad. Plus the onions were chopped in big chunks. The chicken tasted kind of like canned chicken.
My husband had all you can eat wings and ribs. He did not enjoy them.

Server was prompt, friendly and made suggestions. Food was abundant and tasty. Price was decent (under $30 w/tipping over 20%). We had sandwiches and still needed to go boxes. Atmosphere was pub like and seemed family friendly. Probably make a nice date night. Not many people when we came in on a Sat evening at 8pm. However, they do close at 9. We didn’t realize that when we walked in. Overall good experience and will definitely return and reccomend to others.

The food here is great and the menu is simple. It has a sports bar feel to it, but I think it would still be a great place to bring the whole family. The staff were very kind. It is a little more expensive than I believe it should be which is why I didn’t rate it 5 stars: Some more inexpensive appetizers would help too.

Been here many times and never had a bad experience with staff or with the food. Always a friendly experience with staff. The waiters/waitresses have always been prompt in refilling my beverages and taking orders, and checking in on myself and guests I was with. Food is always delicious and made perfectly from my experience.

Courthouse Grill has vastly improved since it opened. It originally took an exorbitant amount of time to get your food, it is now prompt. The atmosphere allows for conversation and is good for a sit down lunch. It has traditional food for a bar/grill. I normally get their French dip, it is good because t not exceptional. They need to toast the bun because the bread is at time soggy when you get it. The fries, chips and onion rings are good. I wish they would lighten up the inside, the dinning area is very dark. I would recommend.
