I have visited this little gem in Pomeroy, Ohio, a few times now, and if I could give 6 stars I totally would. Great food, fantastic atmosphere, and the bands they book are top flight! The recent addition of the upstairs club/suite/bar just compliments an already superb ambiance and charm that this tiny river town already possesses.

This is a hidden musical gem. Great bands and music, awesome food, great staff. The Rump Shaker is a particularly good choice but everything is delicious, reasonably priced with nice staff and cool clientele. Don’t miss their blues fest!!!

Tony and I went to French 500 Flea Market in Gallipolis, Ohio then drove over to Pomeroy for their Farmer’s Market along the Ohio River and had lunch at Court Bar & Grill. I had the “Bungtown” Burger and he had a Pizza Sub loaded with meat, PBR on draft and I had Pepsi. Food was delicious, “Homemade Tortilla Chips & Salsa”…killer!!! Definitely going back, service, food and atmosphere was all stars…going back to try their Deep Dish Chicago Style Pizza.

I have stopped in to the grill a few times over the years. COLD beer, tasty food with a good price point, solid service. While it is a local “hole in the wall,” it does need a deep cleaning. Men’s restroom is filthy, and the overall appearance feels run down/dirty. If they can get that fixed, then they really have it all covered.

A wonderful spot, live music and amazing food. This modern juke joint is a great throwback. The burgers are amazing and the fries perfect. This is a burger that you couldn’t make better at home. Well worth a drive to give it a try!
