Coupa Cafe is a local café chain that serves standard coffee, breakfast items, brunch options, and quick bites. This particular location is inside the Stanford campus, right within the Graduate School of Business. I’ve picked up food and coffee from here multiple times, esp in between the classes- both for quick lunches and coffee breaks.

Their app makes ordering very convenient: you place your order ahead of time and simply grab it when you arrive. My experiences have been consistently positive. The food is straightforward and reliable—nothing fancy, but solid basics like coffee, banana bread, simple sandwiches, and salads.

Overall, the quality is good for the price, and it’s a dependable option when you want something quick and easy on campus. I’d definitely recommend it for a no-fuss meal or coffee stop.

Update: returned many times for brunch, or coffee or just for a snack. Each time they nailed it.

I like the coffee here + sandwich. Very friendly staff.
It’s a bit on the pricey side though. Plus sometimes the cafe is not open during the weekend.

We were visiting Stanford Graduate School of Business for a global conference, and Coupa Cafe was a great place to share ideas with my colleagues.

I placed a mobile order ahead of time because I was in a hurry, but the experience ended up wasting more of my time. When I arrived, someone had already taken my order by mistake. Instead of just letting me grab something quick like a croissant as a replacement, they insisted on remaking the exact order—even though I explained I was in a rush. It felt like there was no flexibility or concern for the customer’s situation. Really disappointing, especially since I took the time to plan ahead.

The breakfast wrap was acceptable, but the latte was somewhat burnt, hence a bit too acidic. They should use a lower temperature, and then the latte would be better.

I got a caramel macchiato and it was definitely not made right, it tasted like watered down coffee that is extremely overpriced.
They took a long time for the order, forgot others’ orders but more importantly, they were quite disorganized and left several cartons of milk out in between orders, which was concerning to me. I know at other coffee shops I see baristas putting the milk/supplies back, but these guys were all over the place. The only thing they’ve got going for them is that they’re in a prime spot for students/profs who need their morning coffee fix. I won’t be returning for low quality overpriced coffee.

What an establishment this place is on the GSB campus. The sheer amount of talent and power coursing through it on a daily basis is dizzying.

Fun conversations and high caliber customers aside, the cafe is comfortable and welcoming. My favorite feature is complementary drinking water always available for guests from a self serve dispenser, which has in many instances been a life saver.

Visitors genuinely enjoy the drinks and snacks on hand (apparently especially the chai latte). All around, this is a great spot.

A great little cafe on the Stanford campus. Me and my engineering crew walked over there before putting a basketball game on TV. Great service. Excellent food. We will probably stop back there again.

Great central location located in the GSB campus. Plenty of tables outdoors to sitdown and do some work, or for meetings. Paid covered parking lot below, free after 4pm.
