The barbecue at this establishment is genuinely in a class of its own. What makes it so special is their traditional method of cooking in a wood-fired oven, which imparts a wonderfully fragrant and smoky aroma that is absolutely mouth-watering. From the moment it arrives at your table, the scent alone is enough to get your appetite going.
Beyond the incredible flavor, what’s truly impressive is the exceptional quality of the food, especially considering the very reasonable prices. I was thoroughly impressed.

Extremely disappointed. I came in for a to go order, ordered 6 chopped bbq sandwiches and 3 pieces of pie. Nothing extravagant or crazy. They were NOT busy by any means but it somehow took roughly 40 minutes for me to get my order meanwhile I can hear them playing around in the kitchen. When I get home (I live 4 minutes away) I discover that the sandwiches are lukewarm AT BEST! I also understand that bbq will have some darker Smokey bits in it but these sandwiches had SO MANY big burnt bits and pieces of gristle that were literally inedible we had to pick most of the meat out of the sandwiches. The buttermilk pies I was given were watery, gritty and just gross one of them was literally just a mess. I should have known it was going to be a mess when I heard one of the girls in the back asking who made the pies today ♀️ needless to say I wasted $67 and will not be going back.

Always loved Country’s BBQ.. used to eat there almost every week. Moved away for 4 years and then returned to Lagrange. I hate to say it but the food quality has gone down hill. Eaten there twice the last 2 weeks. The first time the Brisket was so tough it couldn’t be chewed. The the last time the Brunswick Stew was so vinegary I couldn’t eat it and our out of town friends we took there she took one bite of the BBQ sandwich and no more. She was to polite to complain but others said it just wasn’t very good. When my guest started to order the brisket I warned her about the trip a week earlier and the waitress literally said ” it doesn’t look as bad today as it did that day”. I love this place and not giving up on it. Waitress was informed both times. I really hope they get a handle on things and bring the quality back up. But for now the food gets 2 stars

The food was delicious.Only 4 stars because one of my ribs were burnt but our server did correct it. The lima beans were delicious as well as the fries. My husband had turkey and dressing which was the special and my daughter had chicken strips. Our server Ryleigh was great!

First BBQ I ever had as a kid in Columbus. I feel like the food hasn’t changed/evolved over the years which likely appeals to folks. It’s fine but I feel like the bar has been raised by other places within driving distance. Still worth a stop and definitely hard to drive by, smell the smoke, and not want to stop.

The pork bbq platter was good. I had potato salad and brunswick stew for sides. My wife had the special, roast beef and mashed potatoes with black eyed peas. All the food was good. Lots to look at on the inside. Our server was very polite and the service was the best part.

Food was really good. Amazing Chicken Fingers and Fries. Fries were a little too greasy but it wasn’t that big of a deal. The toast was SUPER GOOD. Similar to Raising Canes style. Sweet Tea is also good. Weird that they’re using cups from Toomer’s Drugs in Auburn for their own though, not a big deal though kinda funny imo. Service is a little inconsistent.

Me and my company went to this establishment around 12 PM. We were seated quickly. I enjoyed a sweet tea with lemon and ordered the brisket sandwich with French fries and extra pickles,my company ordered a brisket sandwich also with baked beans and potato salad which I stole some. Lol The brisket was very tender. My company ate all his food, so I’m going to assume he enjoyed it too but for dessert we had banana pudding. it was delectable,

Ordered a Smoked turkey sandwich. The sandwich was so SMALL, I thought it was a kids sandwich. The bread was burnt, no mayo, barely tomato and lettuce. This sandwich was $6.99? Ridiculous. Tasted awful, burnt. Will never order again. You don’t deserve one star.
