Wow. This is the true definition of southern hospitality. It’s cute, quaint. They’ve got mix matched plates and chairs, a breakfast buffet, and a delicious menu (plus they show the full price with taxes included). The owner is on the floor, he’s charming and very kind. They have a kiddies entertainment section with books and toys. Our waitress was incredibly kind. I got the kitchen sink omelette, highly recommend.

So, overall our experience there was good, but we were not a huge fans of the food. The employees were very friendly and the decor was cute and very cozy. The price for the food was fair and the portions were generous. Our only problem was that almost everything was bland tasting. I had the country fried steak skillet with a biscuit and my wife had corn beef hash with scrambled eggs, grits and a biscuit. The steak and hash were good. The gravy was good. The biscuits were very plain tasting, they really don’t stand well on their own flavor wise, they looked great though. The grits had no flavor at all, and I know grits usually are pretty plain until you flavor them, but even with butter and salt, they were just ok at best. The bed of veggies and potatoes in my skillet tasted like nothing. Even the mushrooms didn’t have much flavor. Maybe it was just our taste buds that day, but it was just off to us. I’d give them another chance next time I’m in the area for lunch, but the breakfast wasn’t for us.

From the moment we walked through the door it felt like home!! We were immediately welcomed and seated. Everyone we encountered was friendly and the place was beautifully decorated!!
You could tell by the menu options that the food was going to be excellent. It didn’t take long at all for our food to come out and it was piping hot and delicious!!
We’ve been searching for a place like this for a long time and it was definitely worth the wait!!

Amazing food I got the country fried steak skillet and my wife got the sausage skillet, I have to say it was the best breakfast we have been too in awhile ( but not as good as my wifes of course ). It was a little long of a wait for your food but that’s when you know it’s fresh. Definitely gonna come back and try there lunch.

Cute, home-y, family owned/local, farmhouse vibes, with spectacular friendly service. The food was piping hot and delicious, not to mention cheap. What more can you ask for? Literally a must stop if you’re in the area like we were. I got their Reuben, my person got their “Gone country” with 2 additional eggs.

We decided to try this dinner. The atmosphere was great. Just like the dinners years ago. Fantastic service. Their hamburgers are delicious. Big, thick and juicy. We like our burgers without any pink meat. Their cook was fantastic. The burgers were perfect. I made sure to let him know. It is so hard to find great burgers lately. I was surprised my wife ate all of hers. We will be back. We want to try some other sandwiches . Even with the 2 hour drive.

Classic diner with great service, value and food! Our server, Emma, took good care of us and was thoughtful and friendly. We all loved the biscuits and jelly. My daughter enjoyed the sausage patties with her eggs and my hubby’s omelette was a hit too. The only vegetarian option was a good one, the Garden Omelette. Loaded with real veggies including spinach! No vegetarian choices I’m the lunch/dinner menu. I’m sure they’d tailor something to your taste if you needed another option. Booth and counter seating. Worth the stop and we’d come again when traveling in Florida.

Delicious food and awesome service. The biscuit was out of this world and the hamburger steak, mashed potatoes with gravy and cabbage were top notch. Hubby had the philly cheesesteak with the sidewinder potatoes and really enjoyed it. Service eas so friendly. We’ll return.
