I took my wife and family friends here. We ordered omelets, pancakes, eggs and coffee. We all enjoyed the food and had wonderful service as well.
The inside was very comfy and a good vibe for a breakfast atmosphere.

P.S. I visit BB often so their punchcard is great for reoccurring customers. Smart idea!

First time coming here. We sat down right away and the staff are very friendly. Loved the food! I usually don’t eat French toast but it was so good here. My boyfriend and I had skillet and my cordon blue skillet was very tasty. I would come again!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! By far, the absolute BEST food at Big Bear Lake! Ask for Ernesto when you go. He went out of his way to make everything wonderful for us!
Also worth mentioning, it’s the cleanest restaurant around. (Seriously, everywhere else was just sticky and gross. Not here! This restaurant actually understands the assignment). The hash browns were amazing! Fresh cooked. The eggs were perfect. True “farm fresh”. The chicken fried steak was perfectly cooked. The bacon omelette was out of this world delicious! The pancakes nice and fluffy. Oh, and super yummy biscuits and gravy! Very reasonably priced. Great atmosphere. And again, the BEST service in town! Can’t wait to come back! “Thank you, Ernesto for your warm hospitality!”✌️

Have tried many diners in bear at this point, and so happy country kitchen opened back up! I tried the cordon blue skillet and it was amazing. Very good food and very good service. Our server Rosie was amazing and very knowledgeable on the menu. She made us feel at home and will definitely be coming back to pay her a visit. If your in the area 10/10 recommend stopping by

My fiance and I were looking for a brunch place before we leave Big Bear after a long yet fun weekend. We found this place online and look like a good old fashioned diner, it wasn’t exactly what we expected, but it did have all of the traditional basic foods that you would find at a Denny’s or franchise diner. I would say their quality is a tad bit better than denny’s, but not that hole in the wall authentic tasty cozy hearty breakfast we were expecting. Overall I did enjoy their food, I definitely would recommend this place for brunch. They don’t advertise it well online, but it is Cash only! They do have an ATM located inside.

The change at Country Kitchen is something special and it shows the moment you walk through the door. With new ownership bringing fresh energy and care into every detail the restaurant has quickly become a must visit spot. The pancakes are absolutely incredible fluffy golden and full of flavor easily some of the best you will ever have. The service is warm attentive and genuinely welcoming making you feel right at home from start to finish. Add in the cozy upbeat atmosphere and consistently delicious food and it is clear this place is doing everything right. Officially reopening on January 31 Country Kitchen is ready to impress come hungry leave happy and get ready to come back again
