Has been a long time since I’ve visited Country Kitchen and decided that a hot meal was needed. I was not disappointed!! The food was hot, fresh and delicious . The waitresses were friendly, fast. Now on to the end of meal arrives the bill…I could not believe how affordable it was!! Trust me for 2+ people you ain’t gonna break the bank with an excellent home cooked meal

Always wonderful service. We generally get buffet, and it never disappoints. Always delicious hot and fresh. Today was no different as we had lunch there. Delicious chicken, meatloaf, and chicken livers (out of this world!!! Thanks Country Kitchen for being one of the only restaurants left in our area that offers the buffet especially one with such good and fresh food

I truly don’t understand the good reviews. It must be some sort of nostalgia or people who’ve never experienced good home/southern cooking. Our table did the buffet and the menu. Buffet: everything (particularly the fish) was soggy, mostly tasteless. Ended up eating iceberg salad bc that was the one edible thing. Menu: My mother had a hamburger. Good enough. Wouldve been more pleased with Cookout. Service was delightful, though – guess that’s something!

When my wife and I walked in the first thing we noticed was the floor was nasty looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. We started to leave then , wished we had. I got the buffet the meatloaf was not very hot as well as the green beans. The boiled potatoes were tasteless unless you put salt and pepper on them , the mac and cheese was ok but the macaroni was over cooked and was mussy. The one really good thing were the rolls. So I have been there twice , my first and last.

It wasn’t worth 11.25 dollars for one person to eat from a bar that didn’t have much at all there. If I knew it was that high I would had went to a real good restaurant. The food wasn’t hot either. It’s nothing like country cooking I can tell you that. I want be back there. Didn’t like it at all.

I always been told you can judge the cleanliness of a restaurants kitchen by the cleaniness of their bathrooms absolutely nasty and disgusting. Hasn’t been cleaned in looks like forever will never go there again. Wish I checked the bathrooms first and taken pictures to post. I would not have eaten there at all! Lesson learned.

A nice home-cooked type of place to go for reasonable prices, friendly faces and good service I went on a Thursday and had the lunch buffet for 995 a good value. I didn’t care for the fried chicken it was way overcooked but I did have the meatloaf and the waitress brought me mashed potatoes at no extra charge that was excellent, almost as good as what Mom made. They also have homemade pies that look scrumptious.

We stopped by on Tuesday for the buffet. Fried chicken, meatballs, chili, pot roast, mac/cheese, several hot vegetables, homemade coleslaw, pasta salad, potato salad and more. Plus a nice salad bar to boot. When dinner was done they brought us bowls of butterscotch pudding.
