My husband and I ended up here when we were just looking for somewhere to have breakfast and I’m so, so glad we stopped here. The building looks like it was built in the late 1950s (maybe 60s?) so prepare to feel very tall when you walk inside from the low ceilings but it’s really charming. It felt like being in a very small town local place where you are very close to people but it’s pleasant. The decor is also really cute it’s like visiting a grandparent when you’re a kid in the 90s, it just makes you feel at home and instantly cozy. Heads up the majority of the clientele (other guests/demographic in the restaurant) is primarily 70 years old and up so if you’re looking for a certain vibe just keep that in mind. The portions shocked me because the prices were lower than most places but the portions?? HUGE. And I mean that as a massive compliment since you don’t get that much anymore in restaurants nowadays. When we were paying (you gotta pay up at the front kind of thing), we saw they also have books to trade! I’m a huge book person so that was both shocking and awesome to come across. There’s a few old photos and I asked our server about it and it turns out those are photos of the owners way back in the day and our server was actually his granddaughter! Just really, really cool of an experience I wasn’t expecting at all on the search for some eggs this morning. Lastly, my husband and I are big Pokémon go players and there’s a gym here!! We will absolutely be back and I feel confident recommending this place to other people that they would have a good experience too 🙂

I thought I was parking my car to get it’s oil changed when we got there. They forgot my coffee, our eggs weren’t cooked according to our order. The “special” caramelized apple french toast was just canned pie filling. I’m sure my gravy was from a can also. Don’t think I would go back or suggest it to anyone.

We waited about 20 mins for a menu then waited over an hour just to be told the table of 6(who came in after us) was more of a priority then our table of 4 with 2 kids. We were watching them eat as we left and the waitress was really rude

Fantastic food, a classic hole-in-the-wall type diner, decor hadn’t been updated for a bit but just added to the character of the place. Overall a great experience we will be back again next vacation! Server recommended the eggs Benedict special they had and I couldn’t have been happier with it. Delicious!
