In love with the Chicken Cashew Salad with Poppy seed dressing great place to get an awesome burger as well. Go check this place out and love it as much as I do. They have specials daily (food and drinks) and a amazing (huge portion) Fried Chicken entree with choice of side on Sunday’s.

Ordering from a delivery app I was a little hesitant because of price, but the food arrived in good shape and was high enough quality to make it worth a paying a little more.

Disappointed. Burger was bland and tasted like freezerburn. Moscow Mule was good. But not enough to redeem it.

I went with a friend of mine last week. I had the Elk burger it was very good I was impressed. Staff was friendly. Went again brought a couple friends…I tried this time the Bison burger ….so very yummy. Staff was great. I also had the French Onion soup. So very good. Very flavorful . My only complaint I have is that I was so full I had no room for dessert. Next time I will have to try some of ur desserts. So I will def be back…oh I forgot to mention I love how the place looks like from the inside. Very rustic ….love it.

Went on a Saturday around 4:30. Have eaten there before because they advertise a gluten free menu. Ordered a burger and a little while later were told they were out of gluten free buns. Checked the menu again and decided just to get the burger without the bun, which I could get anywhere. Two minutes later got our food? Commented how fast it was and the waitress said they made it “just in case”. The burger had no taste and was very disappointing. And they charge extra for a side! When the check came I was charged $1.50 for a gluten free bun. Adjusted the bill, but was not asked by anyone how the food was or even was everything ok. Don’t plan on going back.

This place reminds me of the cafe’s that used to be around with their hearty portions and home cooked feeling. I love their soups and their warm and welcoming environment. Most places you eat now feel like a commercial environment but this place makes you feel as if they truly care about each and every customer. The bathrooms are also very clean which is usually a great indicator of what the kitchen is like.

This is the third time I have enjoyed dinner here. Each time enjoyable! Casual menu and restaurant. Very friendly staff and good food. Tonight I was there with family including 3&5 year old. Kids menu had 8 or 10 common items, and there was a 6 item dessert menu the kids had Jr sundaes. We had bison and regular burgers, batter fried cod and Reuben. All clean plates. There is patio seating in summer. We like this place!

Let me preface this by saying no restaurant prior has been as welcoming, paced, and home-style as this one. All restaurants I have been to have also been unable to sear a steak to the specifications I asked for either.

Very comfortable place with a nice bar. Free shelled peanuts are available for all bar seats and the shells are expected to be thrown on the floor. Very fun experience although I’d you have a peanut allergy, not a place you would want to come. Food is great, I prefer the bison burger which I think is the best in town. My wife loves the Reuben which is also great. Definitely recommend giving the Country House a try. And if you have, you’ll definitely want to go back again!
