We had breakfast at the Country Chalet 2 times and were very pleased with our experience. What it lacks in atmosphere is made up by the friendliness of the staff. Our waitress, Kathy, was kind, funny and on top of things. Our coffee cups never went cold and she couldn’t have been more accommodating. I only gave 4 stars for food because the bacon was a little too salty but other than that for an all you can eat buffet, it’s the best deal near the falls.
We went on a week day and also on a Saturday. On the week day they brought our hot food to the table because of fewer customers in the off season. They are always checking on you to see if you need more of anything. The buffet was open for cold items. Also, regular coffee refills are free! There are also specialty coffees available (no refills).
On the Saturday we went, the entire hot/cold buffet was open. For all you can eat, the $12.99 price(Canadian) can’t be beat.
Definitely will be back when we visit again!

Fantastic!

Quick Service, Leanne was a gem welcoming us to Niagara and keeping the trip feeling special.

They have all your basic breakfast amenities that were fresh and the place was really clean.

Price was the best in Niagara Falls. If you need a simple breakfast, a smile to kick off your day then this is the place. Our glasses were never empty.

Leanne had some great suggestions as well.

What breakfast restaurant doesn’t have honey? Or free water? Why do i have to buy coffee when it should be included in the breakfast buffet. And don’t get me started on the so called buffet. I would have been better at McDonald’s. It definitely has more of menu options.
I want to give it one start but it was close to our hotel …..never again

So many negative reviews of this place which makes no sense to me. It is a 5 star place, hear me out, I’m a semi pro reviewer at this point.

For $12.99 you get an unlimited buffet of:

Pancakes, regular and french toast, scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, bacon, sausages, ham, oatmeal, porridge, yoghurt, canned fruits, banana bread muffins, donut holes. There’s catchup, jam and pancake syrup on the table.

They serve a lot of people so all of this is fresh, there was nothing stale or cold at all.

This kind of value is simply unbeatable, especially for the Falls with one “but”.

ALL drinks here are extra charge, that includes water which is only bottled. They will actively offer you coffee or juice and if you drink a lot, it will be expensive.

I find this perfectly fair, that’s a part of the deal. If you want to save money, just be strategic, come and eat and then get your caffeine fix elsewhere.

Not quite sure why this location has such a bad rep. Yes you have to pay separately for drinks but all you can eat at $12+change is a steal. And the food is not bad and there is a decent options for the price.

This place was pretty decent! Endless breakfast, for only $11 CA. Can’t really beat that! The food was average – not high quality necessarily, but what can you expect at a place like this? Some things were definitely pretty good (the sausage links were very good!!) and I did enjoy almost all of the food at the buffet. And the waiter was nice and friendly.

The main complaint is that they make you pay additional for all drinks, including water. There’s no tap water option – you need to pay for the bottled water. So, all things considered, it ends up being about $14 CA for the buffet with the drink, so it’s not too bad of a price.

So many uneccesary negative reviews and I can’t understand why?

Are you going to a fine dining restaurant with white glove service? Of course not! You are going to a lovely cozy restaurant between a number of hotels, that you can get an all you can eat breakfast for as low as $12.99, from staff that are absolutely lovely!

I think our waitress was Adi (sorry if I got that wrong) who was so friendly and helpful. She really made the experience extra special.

What do you get for your experience? Well, all you can eat, that includes scrambled eggs, pancakes, French toast (with cinnamon available), bacon, breakfast sausage, hard boiled eggs, rice pudding, fruit and yoghurt. Of course it’s bottomless coffee, that’s not too bad, plus there’s juice (I believe they have cranberry as well, which is awesome) and their Pepsi products are also bottomless.

Will definitely be returning here on our next visit, and as I said, looking forward to catching up with Adi.

I was so busy eating I forgot to get photo’s!

Very basic, yet you wouldn’t need more. Jams are on the table, boiled eggs, omelette bacon, ham, sausage, french toast, yogurt and fruits and pancakes. Service was friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed it. For the price in niagra, one shouldn’t complain

Went to try breakfast here at 9am. Service was not so great, nice but not attentive. I ordered tea which came in a tiny mug with a small pot of hot water only enough for one tea. Server did not ask if I needed a refill, I had to hunt someone down to ask. $5.00 for a small apple juice is outrageous! French toast was hard and old tasting, pancakes were mealy and box brand tasting. For a “pancake house” there was no additional pancake toppings or anything special. The bacon was DRY and Very HARD like beef jerky. Everything just tasted old like yesterday’s food. Unfortunately I would not recommend this place for breakfast!! Not worth the money at all!!
If your looking for a great breakfast, I definitely recommend a place called “Falls Manor” instead!!

Breakfast buffet food was very good! Service was also really good! Very tasty and taste better than American breakfast food. I enjoyed the real maple syrup there instead of the fake maple syrup I have to endure in the states. I loved the higher quality pancake batter you use and the real butter. The waitresses were so nice!
