I’ve been eating at Country BBQ for 30+ years when they first started in a tiny location in South High Point, NC. Nowadays I usually stop for a tenderloin and egg biscuit if I’m in town. It’s always very good with a generous slice (or two) of tenderloin and a fresh egg. The biscuits are just OK, the meat is the star of the show. It’s enough for two people.

Great food great atmosphere didn’t understand why I was expected to go get my food from the front counter while others who were dining in were waited on by the servers and I also had nobody come to my table and had to ask for a refill in the same way! All the staff were nice, but as someone who’s used to down home good cooking, my biscuit and tenderloin needed more flavor. It was extremely bland like you had to add all the butter and seasoning yourself. If you’re used to flavorful meals unfortunately don’t expect that from their biscuits.

I ordered an egg platter with sausage gravy and a biscuit. My husband was concerned I was not getting enough protein. Look at the photo and tell me what you think. It looks like they gave me 6 scrambled eggs. I couldn’t even eat half of it, so I’ve got breakfast for tomorrow too. Their biscuits are soooo good. I have half of that left too. My husband had the bacon platter with tater tots. I was going to get a slice of their chocolate cake with chocolate icing (which is the best in town) but I was so full I didn’t do it. If you haven’t been here for breakfast you are missing out. They serve breakfast until 11 am.

I eat breakfast here regularly for about 3 months The food is always fresh exactly what I order and the staff is always friendly The biscuits taste like your grandma baked them I have never been asked to pull up and wait or anything the chain stores do The owners of this restaurant have a fantastic staff!!! Forget Bojangles and the rest their biscuits are the best!!! Very reasonably priced!!!

I stopped by Country BBQ this morning on my way to work. After waiting in the drive-through line, I was informed at the speaker that they were only accepting cash due to their POS system being down. I left to get cash, then returned and placed my breakfast order.
When I reached the window, I asked if I could add a sweet tea to my order. The employee appeared annoyed, responded with “I guess,” and then shut the window.
I typically don’t leave negative reviews, but it was frustrating to wait in line, leave to get cash, return, and then be made to feel like an inconvenience for adding a single drink. It would also be helpful to have a sign or someone notifying customers ahead of time that only cash is being accepted so people aren’t waiting unnecessarily.

I had ordered a catering pickup for Friday at 10:30. Last minute my flight was cancelled and I was in a bad position. Katlin to the rescue as well as Aaron. These two were able to pull of a delivery of the food despite having a full schedule of orders to deliver. I am from out of town and do not have any resources locally to help me. I wanted to say thank you to these two individuals as they bailed me out. Going forward I know who I will get all my customer meals from hands down. Thank you for the help, it does not go unnoticed!
