Good People and a wonderful new addition to Grand Isle. I cannot wait to try all the different options of food they have. I enjoyed my fish sandwich. And the Jambalaya is out of this world. A little food truck near the old Grand Isle
General Store. Check out there Facebook page for times they are open. They have just started up recently. And I’m sure more updates to follow.

Fantastic! Been eating catfish my whole life and this was some of the best I have ever had. Haddock and shrimp were both great as well, so much flavor. Not a jambalaya fan at all but this was delicious. Will definitely have it again!

This is really the best meal I had in St. John’s valley. And it’s such a necessary and essential addition to the local culinary experience, as an evolution and extension of Acadian culture and cuisine by way of the North’s Cajun cousins, that I would suggest anyone visiting this area should view this as a mandatory stop. Outside of Mother’s in New Orleans, these are some of the best Cajun dishes I’ve had in some time. The catfish is cooked perfectly, and the Po boys evoke a sense of being back in Louisiana. Really, the seasoning on this food is masterful and this stop deserves a mention in Roadfood if they ever update their recent entries. It is just a good truck, but it’s remarkably relaxing to sit outside and eat at a picnic table during the summer which is when this food really hits home. The locals have clearly already embraced this gem, and so you should anyone passing through grand Isle or the surrounding towns.

Nicely Done!
I got the red beans and rice, the gumbo, and the jumbolia, YUM!

The meat and the sausage is off the chain good. The rice is an important part of the meal, eat it slowly and enjoy the goodness.

I enjoyed the Cajun Flavor of Louisiana right here in the St John’s River Valley.

This is an AWESOME addition to our community and to the Valley! The food is tasty and authentically cajun. Mildly cajun. Acadian cajun. 🙂 The red beans and rice is delicious! The cajun chicken is super tasty, but mild enough my Kansas-born wife likes it. The fries are great, very close to their recent potato-hood. The chicken dinner is a delicious protein snack for errands. We are very pleased with the dishes we’ve had and are looking forward to jambalaya.

Also… I am hopeful there’ll be pralines and muffalettas in the future!

Edit – 07172025 – Boudin balls and catfish have become regular menu items. Yum! The jambalaya have become a favorite here, as has Uncle Wilt’s roast beef. Still waiting for beignets, but I hear they’re coming.

I was hungry coming through the town of Grand Isle thinking about what kind of junk food I’d have to get at family Dollar on my way home, and then I found this place!
