This place doesn’t claim to be anything it’s not, like most restaurants. It’s a laid back establishment, but I would suggest not going there when it’s too late, per other reviews or you might get pooped on. Their prices are good and the food is great. Their prime rib Wednesday is awesome. You can do two passes by the cuttery guy, whatever they’re called, and if you ask nicely, I bet you’ll be allowed to go a third time. If you need to go a fourth, then you’re like me…a big eater. Just be nice and see what happens!
I’ve been back 3 times in as many weeks and not just for the prime rib. It’s a chill spot, and I everyone of the staff that I’ve met is great.

We held an event for our church for 75 people and the food, service, and atmosphere were perfect for our event. Then my family and I had dinner another day and the food was delicious. Hyland Hills is really doing a great job with their employees and the food offerings.

I came for a large birthday brunch of about 17 people during their Sunday brunch buffet and it was a so-so experience. They ran out of champagne for mimosas about an hour after we got there and, when asked, said they only had 4 bottles to begin with. That seems weird if they knew a really large group was coming in well in advance. Carving/omelet station was also pretty slow with one guy doing both.
Also had to go into the restaurant to make the reservation and change it because their phones rang, no one answered, and the voicemail box was full.
Really good food but I wouldn’t recommend for a big group.

Went on a Monday evening around 7. Only one server was at the bar. The food was delivered in about 30 minutes, but it was still good. If you don’t know what to get, try the buffalo bleu wrap!

I’m on the ladies nine hole league and spend a lot of time at the Cottonwood Lodge. The food is delicious and Kristin is the best! She takes care of the bar and the restaurant all by herself….amazing! And always has a smile and super friendly! Thanks for the great experience!

Surprised by the previous reviews, not our experience.
Went for happy hour, super cheap, 2-1s, $5 drafts and $1 off select small plates! A must try is the Garlic Parm Potato Wedges, delicious!
Not many places left in CO you can get drinks and an app at this price! Bonus beautiful golf course view.
P.S. Look for Maria at the bar, she’s the best!

I had my engagement party here on 6/15 and it was absolutely wonderful. The vision I had for the room was brought to life, and everything looked gorgeous! Stellar service and food as
well. I can’t thank the Cottonwood Lodge team enough for the most fantastic day. So grateful for Rose, Dom, Aiden, Tavi, Juliana, and Laura!

Under new ownership. The lunch was delicious, ( hamburger, club and ruban done to perfection) although the menu was limited. There’s a nice patio outside. Worth a visit whether you’re playing golf or not!

Went here for Prime rib night and enjoyed it. Went back the following week to eat off their regular menu. Walked in about 715. The bartender looked annoyed a guest was coming in and shed have to work. Ordered a beer and chicken wings. A few minutes after ordering the wings… 720, maybe 725 the bartender asked me to put my dinner order in if I was getting anything because the kitchen wants to close (advertised close is at 8pm… i got there 45 minutes before close, not 5 minutes).
I said sure but wait til the wings are here before you put it in and ordered a ribeye. She told me they were out of that. And the NY strip and 1 or 2 other entrees. They were out of half the menu. I told her to cancel the wings and I’ll pay for my beer. She gave me more attitude and said they couldn’t be canceled. Tough, I’ll pay for the beer and leave.
If you are out of half your entrees you should probably tell guests up front. Don’t waste your time or money giving this place a try.
