Very nice place, busy and alil unorganized on the ordering and service part.. employees are unorganized.. alil more work there… but looking at the food is great and no complaints there.. and those who need a updated menu picture and price range for who would wanna know…

Food was good but really expensive. You pay around $17 for a grilled cheese sandwich and fries. The burgers are great and pizza looked good. Takes a while to get your food but does tlcome out cold. They have a burger that has jalapeños, green chili, pepper jack cheese, and some other stuff on it that was great.

The place is clean and air conditioned. The staff are useless so don’t expect help or for them to do anything that would require effort. There is reason the cashier is automated. A.I. would be an improvement for the rest of the staff. For around $40 you can expect 1 kids meal, 1 adult meal and 1 drink. Keep in mind this is for hot dogs and chicken strips and potato chip.
Kids combo is OK. You can expect a small (7 fl oz) room temp apple juice, small apple sauce (2 oz), gold fish (100 calorie bag), nitro grain bar, and the cheapest thing that technically counts as a corn dog or hotdog. FYI, the dog is of exceptionally poor quality/cheap meet.

The website says it takes 3-4 hours to get through the entire zoo. But if you stop here I’d factor in an extra 2 hours, cause that’s how long it’ll take to get your food and eat it. Food is decent but takes forever to come out. No customer service and the ticket system needs a serious overhaul. Do yourself a favor and just bring your own food.

I ordered their Biopark Cheeseburger with bacon, cheese, guacamole and green chile with house potato chips. Tasteless, dry burger and tasteless chips at a premium price of $16.95. I couldn’t finish it. Got sick that evening with gastrointestinal prblems and bloating. Now i see they were red-tagged by food inspectors. I am not surprised. I will never eat here again.

Food is good for a zoo. Seating is comfortable and sunny. The service is now non-existent. They’ve moved to kiosk ordering, and the crew ignores you till your food is ready. We ordered coffee, and it took 5 minutes for someone to acknowledge we were there and then were told it was still brewing. And then the cups weren’t insulated, and it was too hot to hold. There is probably no reason to come back. It was also $11 for two small coffees.

What in the TIME WARP is happening here? Does the BioPark or even the City of ABQ care about their visitors? The wait is INSANE. Not fair at all to out of town visitors who just got off a long flight and made a special trip to come to the Zoo.

Minus the cashier at the register the rest of the staff was rude. They are very unorganized, they ended up giving part of my order to another person. I would not recommend coming into the cafe unless you have at least 45 mins to an hr to wait for your food. You’re better off ordering from the other outside kiosk.

Normally, I don’t write reviews, but… This was a truly awful experience. Staff was rude and sneering, One of their names was Angel. Food was overpriced $51.86 for two burgers two fries two sodas. Took just over 45 minutes for the food to be ready and there was only three other guest in the restaurant. The fountain drink machine Is dirty, and completely full of mold. Out of cheese, out of ketchup. The atmosphere was horrible even though this was at the zoo because the employees seemed anxious for guest to leave, but it was 2 PM so I can’t imagine it was close to closing time. Employees on their phones, chatting with each other, and eating directly behind the counter in plan sight of the guest. Too busy to promptly, take orders, clean, any tables or complete orders. My tip was completely unappreciated and asked for upfront while paying for the order. I hate that practice because it makes you feel like your food won’t be the best quality if you don’t tip. No “thank you” or any kind of politeness at all. Very uncomfortable! I quietly went through this experience, but hope a manager really takes a look into the staff and operation at this restaurant. Thanks for your time.
