Cottons is one of Lincolnton’s hidden gems. The building is small and unassuming making it easy to miss when driving by. But it is worth stopping in for a good meal with the old time fish camp feel. While the dining room is small, it is clean. And the waitresses check on you without being annoying. I waited about 25 minutes to get my food and I’m glad I did. The food is great and the serving portions are large. I got the seafood platter with baked potato and green shrimp. The total bill was $21.55 since I paid with cash. Credit card was abt. $1.50 more. Not a bad price for good food with large portions.

Tried this restaurant for the first time a month or two ago and we were amazed at how great it was. The fish is always fresh and delicious. I’ve tried about everything so far and it’s been great. Highly recommend. Seating inside with great service too.

I ordered salt and pepper catfish on the bone, small order, no salt and pepper when they set my plate down, baked potato was cold, 15.50 for 5 greasy mushy fish. My husband ordered small order of fantail shrimp, he got 6 shrimp and let me say Seapack grocery store shrimp are better quality than his were and they were way overpriced any 15.25, needless to say I will never go back for overpriced low quality food.

Yum!! Every single time it’s consistent.
I didn’t picture the High Tide platter…but it’s easily enough for two…maybe three people. Facility is clean and staff is friendly. Definitely will go back!

On our way back from Hickory, we stopped here for a late lunch. Very clean restaurant. Their condiments are in a basket and taken away each meal where the bottles are wiped down, refilled, and put in a fridge so they are fresh and cold for the next table. Loved this! Top plate: chicken livers and perch combo: generous portion of livers that my husband thoroughly enjoyed there and leftovers at home heated in the air fryer. I enjoyed the deviled crab that was lightly seasoned. Love their hush puppies! Food was fresh and hot and so worth the wait. Not far off of 321, so anyone in the Charlotte area who finds themselves near here, just go!

My husband and I both got the senior Flounder Plate. Oh my gosh so good. Even had enough left over for another meal. Don’t know how they can serve this meal for that price. Will definitely be back to try rest of their menu. Plus the restaurant is a good Christian place. We walked in the door and felt like we was home.

Perch, green shrimp, fried livers, fried pickles, fries, hush puppies, salad & slaw. Everything was good! Large portions, average price, and the lady who brought our food was very nice and attentive.

I had the Carolina hotdog basket with chilli, mustard, onion, and slaw with crinkled fries. My wife had the fried oysters and baked potatoes. Everything was perfectly cooked and yummy. I would highly recommend this restaurant. And people was super friendly.

Great little secret hole in the wall right off of business 321 set in a beautiful piece of countryside. Super fresh food that came out piping hot in huge quantities for an affordable price. The service was above excellent and I will go out of my way to come back. Thanks! The Seafood Platter was amazing!
