Had such a great experience at Cotton Patch Cafe! From the moment we walked in, the staff was welcoming and attentive. The food came out fresh, hot, and full of flavor. You can really tell they take pride in serving homestyle meals that actually taste homemade.
The chicken fried steak was perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, and the sides were just as good. Portions were generous, and everything was seasoned just right.
Service was quick without feeling rushed, and the atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable — perfect for a family dinner or casual night out.
Definitely one of my go-to spots when I want comfort food done right. Highly recommend!

When we walked in the place was beautiful, it had great music, and the young man at the front was quickly to greet us and walk us to our booth.. I don’t normally write bad reviews but we did have many issues after our warm welcome..
We weren’t asked about our drinks immediately like most places.. instead we were sitting there for a good 5-10 minutes before we could order our drinks and get a menu..
From there we were brought rolls that looked like they were burnt so we weren’t able to eat the tops..
Then we order mushrooms that were SOAKED in grease and we couldn’t even finish them and we love mushrooms.
Unfortunately we didn’t have anything to wash it down cuz we had enough time to drink our drinks before the appetizer got there and although the waitress walked by our table 5 time, we weren’t offered another until FINALLY we got her attention to get a refill.
We were then served our main meal which was actually pretty decent and we asked for the check afterwards. She was quick to bring the check and told us she would be our checkout person when we were ready. My boyfriend immediately grabbed his card and she was gone before he could hand it to her and didn’t return for 15 MINUTES!!
We waited 15 MINUTES JUST TO PAY FOR OUR BAD SERVICE AND FOOD..
Long story short, if it wasn’t for the bad service we would have looked past the food cuz some of it was okay but when you have to wait such long waits between each interaction, it’s just not worth it..
First and last time!!

We had a wonderful experience thanks to our server, Kaila, and the manager, Karyme. Kaila was attentive, friendly, and incredibly patient with our entire family. She made sure every detail was taken care of, checked in on us at just the right times, and truly made us feel welcomed and valued. Karyme was equally impressive as a manager—professional, kind, and clearly dedicated to providing excellent service. She checked on us personally and made sure everything was running smoothly, which really stood out. Together, they turned a simple family meal into a great experience. It’s clear they both take pride in their work, and it shows. We’ll definitely be back and hope to be served by Kaila again with Karyme leading the team!

We were in Hobbs for a vacation. We went to Cotton Patch two nights in a row. We returned because the food was delicious, but the main reason we returned was our server, Emy. She is absolutely the best! On our second visit, My husband and I joked that it would be great if we had her as a server again, and sure enough, she was there and we had the pleasure of sitting in her section again. Emy is truly the greatest! She is friendly and very attentive, but the bonus is her humor. I hope the restaurant manager knows what a fantastic asset Emy is to this establishment. Blessings to Emy!!!

Great place if you have a small group less than 5 people. Food was excellent. The waitresses cannot handle a group more than 20. Receipts get messed up, so make sure you pay attention to what you are paying for. All together, this is my second time attending this place. Would recommend if you’re looking for a place to grab a bite.

Came in around lunch, host sat me at a table and went out of the way to wipe down my table, there was a a few crumbs and I told her it was okay but she still cleaned. I didn’t catch her name but she was a sweet young lady with red and black hair. Service was great my waitress Morgan (I believe), was very attentive and friendly! I haven’t been to Cotton Patch in a while do to a bad experience in the past but I will admit they have up the game! Great job Cotton Patch!
