We took the family to lunch while we were in the area and had an outstanding experience from start to finish. Brayden took excellent care of us and made sure everything we needed was handled promptly. The food came out hot, fast, and absolutely delicious. I sooooo love this Ennis TX Cotton Patch before becoming a local I remember over 11 yrs ago when open we drove miles to visit and I met Maria, you are simply the best you’ve been here since opening and yet each time I see you doing what you do best you stay consistent. I’m not sure why you haven’t been promoted maybe you just love people Maria and always professional and courteous and it shows. Please note ask for Maria each time you visit. Will, young man the newest and best chef in the kitchen I know you been here a short while but young man your food is ALWAYS on point. Recommend you guys reduce your staff that just stands around talking and looking lost. It was around 5-6 PM. How about some cost containment keeping those that rise to the occasion is of importance. Will and Maria as a business owner, I see you thanks again

I had to try the Angus Beef Triple Chesse Bacon Cheeseburger this time & was skeptical if this burger would fill me up until
I bit into it & realized there’s no way the patty is a 1/4 pound. The menu only says Angus Beef but I am sure it’s 1/2 pound so I can’t even believe I finished it. Only compliant is really a suggestion for the potato bun to be just a slightly bigger bc the patty was protruding all around. Regardless, $13 worth well spent…. and the staff was nice and courteous per usual. Looking forward to trying something new next time!

Don’t get the bbq sammy – my friend said it tasted like chopped ham. HOWEVER, everything else, including the peach cobbler iced tea was outstanding. Had dinner one night and went back for lunch the next day. Chicken fried chicken might be the best around. Grilled pork chop might be the best around. Broccoli and rice – yes – that’s how you’ll get me to eat my vegetables. Blackberry cobbler – don’t mind if I do! Mmmmm-mmmm! I didn’t want to leave.

Our large group went here after the celebration of the life of a family member who passed away. The staff was great, friendly and the food was wonderful. We received excellent service from Emma who was attentive to everyone’s need, was very cheerful and kind, and who made it a great environment to spend time with family. Great job all around!

Maria at Cotton Patch is absolutely amazing! She greeted us with a big, genuine smile and checks in often to make sure we’re doing well or if we need anything. She’s incredibly friendly, welcoming, and has a way of making us laugh and feel right at home. The restaurant is always very clean, and Maria’s kindness truly makes the experience even better. She’s a gem! We will be coming back again and again.

My family and I dined in on a busy Friday night. Service was excellent. Isaac communicated properly and visited our table for refills and updates. I was pleased with the temp of our food and how quickly our sides were added at the table appeared! It was a great experience and saved me from making dinner after a long work week.
