I was very delighted with my experience at this restaurant. We went for a girls night before Christmas and we all were impressed with our experience. They gave bread with balsamic/oil at the table which is something I haven’t seen in a while at a restaurant and is something I always appreciate having while waiting for our food. We all got apps to share, which was the Shrimp, fried carbonara and the aranchini balls and they were all so delicious. For our meals I personally got the pepper gnocchi which was rich & creamy. The others got a flatbread pizza & the shrimp linguine. The shrimp linguine was delicious and quite lemony, but in a good way. The waiter & staff were very attentive to our table, we never had an empty glass. We really enjoyed our waiter, he was very knowledgeable of the menu. Overall the atmosphere was dimmed lighting and cozy. Although I did feel like I was shouting to have a conversation which I would say is the only negative experience at this dinner. The food was good, but to be honest, we left feeling disappointed. We arrived 10mins early for our 7pm reservation and were told our table wasn’t ready (which is fine) but there seemed to be some kind of mixup because the hostess that checked us in went and spoke with a manager, and I heard her say “I have a problem.” We don’t mind waiting but after being checked in by 3 different people, we ended up being sat late, past our reservation time. It took a long time to get water, then our server offered to let us sample a wine which took a long time, and something happened at front of house that delayed our server again with the wine, which he apologized for. But anyways we order, we get our app, we get our entree, it’s my birthday and our server drops off dessert and the bill together and says we have 10mins to eat it and pay because our reservation time is going to be over. Kind of put a damper on the end of the meal, especially considering a lot of the delays were related to the restaurant and NOT us. We don’t mind waiting for things like food and drinks, but if we’re going to be rushed at the end after having to wait for a lot, it kind of puts a sour taste in your mouth. I’ve NEVER been told that I needed to leave a restaurant because I’ve been there too long or even heard of such thing happening to anyone before. I’d also like to point out we ordered 2 glasses of the same wine and were given a bottle (which I didn’t complain about because we were on the fence about just getting a bottle and I took it as a sign that we should have).
The food was good. Arancini was good just not amazing or something I MUST eat again. Short rib was really good. Braised beef ravioli were good. I found the tiramisu to be dry and wouldn’t order it again.
Overall, we were happy with the food, just not how we ended the experience and unfortunately we won’t be back.

They serve Italian food, including Pinsa, a traditional Roman-style flatbread dating back to ancient Roman times. I ordered the lemon linguine, which features house-made pasta — always a plus. The flavor was decent, though the cream sauce was fairly basic. The shrimp was dry and overcooked. I also tried the ricotta cheese dumplings with pesto sauce, but that dish was fairly unremarkable as well. Overall food has nice presentation, and the restaurant’s decor is quite appealing. This place is an absolute gem! Food and ambience is so welcoming and amazing and the staff are just some of the best in the service!! The past 3 times I’ve been to Cotta have been amazing! First was for a sandwich at lunch time, the focaccia bread was so fresh. Next was NYE, where my boyfriend and I had the best meals (cured beef app, filet mignon, branzino). Lastly, I went for a night out with family. Food and service was exceptional. Also love the touch of flowers on every table!

D & C Fountain
We had a wonderful dinner at COTTA and loved everything about the experience from the moment we walked in to the moment we walked out. The atmosphere was welcoming, the service was excellent, and the attention to detail really stood out.
We finally had the chance to try the PINSA and they were truly out of this world. The walnut and fig PINSA in particular was exceptional unique, perfectly balanced, and absolutely delicious.
An all-around fantastic dining experience. We’ll definitely be back!
