Went back today since we enjoyed it so much yesterday but changing my 5 star review to a 3. The cashier is not very friendly. She is texting on her phone the whole time so when you go to order you feel like you’re inconveniencing her. The horchata was not good so I asked to exchange for Jamaica and felt like she gave me attitude. I had brought my sister in law and brother in law with us today but seems like we did not receive the same service or taste of food as we did the previous day.
Guacamole in burrito is too much and has no flavor. Taste very watered down. Potato taco had no flavor. Fish taco was just okay. The only thing we did like from today was the CA burrito but today we ordered with no guac.
Probably won’t come back for a while due to their poor customer service. Yesterday when we left we said thank you and there was just crickets. I watched them do the same thing to another customer who thanked them before leaving. Seems like they’re miserable to be working here.

First time here, we got a CA burrito, 5 beef rolled tacos, & a queso birria. This is the first time in a LONG time my husband and I were both extremely satisfied with taco shop food. It’s been hard lately to find a good taco shop that doesn’t over price things while cutting back on quality ingredients. The CA burrito was massive, not salty, and we requested extra crispy fries which they did.$14 for a burrito of this size was well worth it! The quesabirria was $8 which at first I thought was pricey but then we received it and opened it, it was packed! Flavor on everything was perfect. We will be coming back for sure! Open 24 hrs is just the frosting on top!

I went to this taco shop to buy a taco but is full of oil and it tasted like that OIL
The 2 ladies are always angry or they are sarcastic maybe, but their attitude is bad, the food is not that great and just check the pictures the taco very simple just guacamole and meat thats it not onion not cilantro no lime not salt and expensive plus all cover on oil disgusting and if you try to let them know this they change you the taco but with a horrible attitute like if they are doing a favor to you even when thanks to the customers they have a bussiness

Wonderful and nice people, great atmosphere and plentiful parking. However, the food is not that good and the price is high, which are the most important parts about eating out. Therefore, I don’t recommend coming to this restaurant at all. The meat is overcooked and they use way too much sour cream.

A classic Mexican spot in Clairemont with a wide selection of items. The supreme (veggie), bean & cheese, chile relleno, and California burritos are pretty good. The salsas are quite good as well. The only thing is sometimes they almost make their food too fast, and the cheese doesn’t have time to melt. You can end up with a burrito that has hot meat with cold lettuce, cheese, tomato, etc.

Terrible food! We came here because of the high star rating. While the employees seemed friendly, the food we received was bland and downright gross! My rolled tacos had absolutely no taste, the guacamole was like flavorless mashed potatoes, and the “salsa” was some watered down version of something I can’t describe. My fiance’s shrimp burrito tasted like frozen shrimp….who puts peas in a shrimp burrito!? Gigatic random chunks of not very ripe tomato….and to top it off – they gave us warm drinks! And acted as though providing us with extra ice was not a part of their job description and a nuisance! And it wasn’t even enough ice to make our drinks cold! Shaking our heads at the misleading and far from accurate reviews! Neither of us even ate half our food and we spent 25$! During a pandemic 25$ could be your last meal for the week! They need to focus more on food quality and customer service instead of cool graphics for advertising!

Great flavor and great value. These burritos were huge and stuff full of meat! You know those other places that the burritos look but but it’s filled with nothing but rice and beans with tiny morsels of meat? Not this place! I’d definitely be coming back when I’m in town.
