Difficult to beat a Cote breakfast and this didn’t disappoint. Quality service and lovely food and coffee. Thanks to the staff that were working that morning the 30th August. Easy to find. It was our anniversary and they gave us 2 Mimosas – lovely touch.

Côte Brasserie is a restaurant that really doesn’t need much introduction – it’s well known for good food and elegant presentation. This visit was no different: the dishes were very tasty, though the presentation wasn’t quite as refined as, for example, at The Muse. Still, everything was excellent overall. The desserts were fantastic, and the staff were incredibly friendly. Thank you!

Overall, it was a pleasant and aesthetically charming restaurant, very well kept and definitely clean. The food was generally very good, I ordered the salmon and it even came with complimentary fries, which was a nice touch.
The only thing I’d strongly recommend improving is the waiting time. I can’t wait 25 minutes after asking for the bill, receive the receipt, and then wait another 15 minutes just to have a voucher applied. I was tired and ready to go home, and it really didn’t help that every time a waiter walked past me, they acted like they didn’t see me.
A special mention goes to the girl working last night — hair in a ponytail and glasses. She was by far the kindest one there, though unfortunately I forgot to ask her name.

Perfect lunch out, impeccable service and incredible food, I came with my Nan and she was very impressed, definitely the best food I’ve had in a while, special mention to our server Lilybelle who was fabulous the whole time and put up with our indecisiveness! It is hard to choose when there are so many great options! We had three courses and a glass of the orange wine each and it was such a treat.

Really enjoyed some breakfast here with my partner. She had some of the nicest scrambled eggs we’ve ever tried on seedy sourdough and I had a pigs in blankets brioche sandwich with hot honey and a fried egg. Food and coffee were both top notch. Service was also very friendly.
We noticed tables being cleared very swiftly which helped keep up the clean atmosphere. Will be back.

I normally love cote and like a homing pigeon I always head to one whichever city Im in.
In the last 20 is years I have been to many all over England and love them but this is the first time both the food and the service from one staff member were so poor from the minute I was seated that it left me wondering if I was actually in cote or some other place .
The starter cheese souffle was burnt on top and fairly tasteless but I was starving so I ate it.
I ordered the steak with bernaise sauce and when it arrived the sauce was a cold solidified mess .
So I asked if I could get it warmed and when it came back it was exactly the same .
Somone else came over poss manager and he was l nice but he said he would try and improve the but he would bring peppercorn sauce instead .
I dont even like peppercorn so I abandoned the meal .
The salad with avacado and cucumber was a iceburg salad with no cucumber and brown avocado and-so I didn’t eat that either .
The other reviews seemed ok and I usually love Cote but for me this meal was a disaster and I really hope this was a one off as I normally love cote and my husband and I have often praised how consistently good both the service and food normally is at the Cote brand restaurants

Had a very pleasant dinner here.
The menu offers a great amount of choices, however, I think the Starters and Sharers could be marked better, as we weren’t too sure which plates were appropriate to order as a sharing option. Also, the separate dessert menu did not have some of the desserts that appeared in the main menu.
The food was very delicious, the calamari were probably the meatiest ones I’ve had in a long time, definitely give it a go. The French onion soup was great, and the mushroom cassoulet was extremely filling.
The service was superb, the waiter had great charisma and made us feel welcome.
The atmosphere itself was pretty good, I found some of the music played a little bit not fitting with the idea of the restaurant, perhaps. And at points the staff were just standing by the bar and it felt like we were being watched a lot, which felt a bit awkward personally.
But all in all, had an amazing dinner here and definitely would come back again.

I am always moved by care. From that point it is atmosphere and food and drink. Then I am impressed by the continued attentiveness of teams and staff. This is an exceptional place for me. Reliable, soothing and high quality. I always know what I am getting. Maddie was an exceptional host to us. Super on the ball and couldn’t do enough for us.

Place was high recommend by others, was extremely disappointed by what I experienced. The calamari was tuff and over fried, the steak was over seasoned and tasted of only salt. If you do try this place, I’d recommend a spaghetti dish or fish dish.

This was the worst dining experience of my life. I ordered seafood linguine first and the linguine was so overcooked it had formed a claggy ball. The prawns were also severely undercooked and upset my stomach. They took that plate back and gave me a burger which was just as inadequate. The bread was dry and the vegetables soggy. After asking for the bill they demanded that I pay for my meal even though I sent it back almost untouched. The manager on shift came over to help but gave us the most horrendous customer service. She was exceptionally rude stating that no one else had complained and therefore I shouldn’t be. I told her the food wasn’t up to standard and it wasn’t acceptable and she shrugged her shoulders and walked away. I then waited a further half an hour for the bill which still included the meal that I sent back. Do not come here.
