10 out of 10! We hosted our wedding reception at Cotali Mar in the Adega (wine cellar), and it was absolutely perfect. The wine cellar setting created such a beautiful, intimate and romantic atmosphere. The we had 70 guests, a 5 piece band and a good size dancing area without it feeling too crowded! The cigar lounge next to the bar, was a huge hit especially since it was snowing outside so guests could stay inside. To quote many of our guests “This place is so gorgeous, it felt like we stepped back in time! How did you find such a perfect place?!” The food was beyond delicious, hot, with large portions that our guests are still talking about. (And we all know good food as most of our guests are restaurant owners!) Chicken Madeira was amazing! Everything was flavorful, fresh, as well as beautifully presented. The staff were great people—kind, attentive, and genuinely invested in making our night special. Smiles all around! The staff really felt like family! On top of all that, the prices were extremely reasonable, especially for the quality, portions, and service we received. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate such an important day. Most definitely a hidden gem! Thank you isn’t enough!!!

My husband and I can’t thank Talya and the Cotali Mar family enough for everything they have done for us on our wedding day. It was absolutely beautiful and everything I had envisioned and more for my wedding day. On our wedding day we had a last minute issue with one of our vendors. Talya and the whole Cotali Mar family stepped in right away and helped out in anyway possible. They were extremely helpful, kind and attentive to us throughout the evening/night. If you are looking for a reception for your wedding day look no further. You most certainly will not be disappointed with Cotali Mar. I wish I could relive our wedding day over and over again. THANK YOU Cotali Mar for making our wedding day so so special!!

Honestly, it would have been a great experience if they didn’t throw away most of my wedding cake. They claimed my wedding cake had too many toothpicks in it, so they couldn’t serve the lower tier. My baker said there were only toothpicks in the 6 flowers on the cake. It was tossed in the trash before anyone could verify their story. Instead of explaining why they threw it out to my event planner, who was the DJ, they interrupted my wife and I in the middle of the wedding to show a plate of toothpicks. Then blamed us for not asking to see the cake during our reception. Really unprofessional!

The food was great. The venue was everything my Fiancee and I want in a wedding. This wedding redeemed the wedding I went to at a different venue the Biltmore and I was sick for like 3 months in and out of the Drs/ Hospital. The staff were all friendly and very attentive.

Went there Friday night with a few close friends. The waitress we had was awful! We sat for about half hour before she asked what we wanted to drinks. We all ordered our drinks and waited about 20 minutes for them. They were all wrong and she gave an attitude. The food was disgusting and again an attitude. Safe to say we will never go back. It used to be great food and atmosphere. We will not be going back.
