1st time here, was so good, each plate was delicious, very small plates, but great. Our wait staff was the BEST!!. Shout out to Charity for never letting our drinks run dry, and Rachel for great attention to our table. Both girls top notch along either the food.

Great restaurant. Great food and great service. Great location. Felt very safe with off street parking available across street. Handicap accessible. Tuna was cooked perfect. Other meals at table were shrimp, hanger steak, crab salad and all were very good. Ribeye was $80…didn’t order. There are 2 restaurants. The other is Costera Lupo which is Italian on Magazine.

We got the bombas, shrimp, crudo, mushrooms, and charred romaine as well as a few different mixed drinks. Everything was so, so good and the service was excellent! Will definitely be going back.

It’s fantastic that there is a tapas restaurant in New Orleans. Overall my experience was great and the tapas and cocktails were delicious. We ordered four tapas for two people and that was the perfect amount. The only reason I am withholding one star is because all four of the tapas we ordered were topped with breadcrumbs for texture. I would have preferred a more versatile method to add crunch especially since we had four different tapas. Minced raw onions, crispy garlic, pickled veggie, chopped almonds, are just a few options that might have made the tapas more versatile. Still, the flavors were good and I would go again, especially with a group so we could share more tapas!

Costera offered creative small plates and cocktails that we enjoyed sharing! The broccoli, beets and gulf fish with seasoned winter vegetables were particularly delicious. Many dishes had a jalapeño kick to them.

Fancy and casual restaurant that serves some delicious food. Get the family style tasting (I had it at dinner time) if you love to try new foods and a little bit of everything on the menu. The terres major steak and seafood paella was some of the best I’ve ever had.

Stopped in for a couple apps at the bar. The staff was cool and welcoming with food and drink suggestions. Everything was really good – the sauce paired with the scallops was really salty for some reason and overpowered the dish, but other than that we had an overall pleasant experience. The mushrooms were exceptional.

Do yourself a favor … and go to this great restaurant. As a frequent traveler to Spain … this is the closest thing you will get in the USA.
