Felt like I should leave a review. The cashier girl was very friendly but there was one lady preparing the food that was extremely rude. No smile or greeting and seemed like she hated her life while talking to people. I couldn’t even get a sentence out before she cut me off. No way to greet people when first walking in. Disappointed.

Always good! Growing up in Utah, I moved out of state where there’s no Costa Vida, so I’ve made it a tradition to eat here every time I come visit.

Update 2: Management did not fulfill their offer to make things right. He told us that he would compensate us four free entrees for our trouble and it took 3 weeks and then he didn’t even deliver what was promised. I would have been okay with an apology and a promise to provide better training to his people. But for him to offer that to us and then not deliver after I changed my review? Seems scummy and crooked.
Update: We have since been privately contacted by management who has gone above and beyond to take our concerns seriously and make this right. I have ever confidence that their team with receive the additional training needed.
My husband is allergic to cheese; it makes his throat swell and causes significant pain. We’ve never had a problem with our request to omit cheese being honored when we’ve ordered from other locations. We ordered a plain sweet pork burrito along with three other meals. All of our other food was correct, but thank god we’ve learned to check our orders because they added cheese to my husband’s burrito. When we called to notify them, they proceeded to argue with us and claim that we didn’t check the burrito, and accused us of trying to scam them. I understand that we ordered within an hour of closing time (for pickup, we weren’t dining in the restaurant) but that’s not an excuse to ignore a request to leave out an allergen. They’re lucky we checked our food first, but their negligence could easily result in a law suit if they don’t fix it. And the fact that they argued with us is absolutely deplorable customer service.
The first photo shows cheese along the bottom of the tortilla, the second shows melted cheese on the plate, and the third shows a large clip of cheese in the pork.

Should you choose to come here, prepare to get the least.Amount of food when you order of any costa vita in utah. And if you feel like me, you’re getting very little of anything be prepared for them to tell you, it’s going to cost more for extra.
I ordered a smothered burrito with no beans.And when the guy put the rice on, he put one small spoonful, and when I asked him for more rice, since I wasn’t having beans, he told me it’d be extra cost. And then when he put the cheese on, he put on so little, I couldn’t believe it when I said he should put on more, he told me it’d be extra. And then when he put on the sauce, he put on.So little and I said, this is ridiculous, and he said, that’s just way it is where I have to pay more. His name is Alen and everything that I asked him for I told him that every other costa vita, I go to gives way more cheese way more sauce way more.Lettuce, way more pico, this location gives you the bare minimum or tries to sell you up to pay for more. Even the young lady who put on the lettuce and pico gave me so far less than i’ve ever received.Anywhere else and then the sour cream and guacamole scoop was the smallest.I’ve ever seen.
I recommend going to a different location unless you want to come and get the very minimum. I paid $12.12 for this.

This is my favorite Costa vida location. I will drive out of my way to come to this location. No matter the time of day the service here is amazing. The crew member are always talking and smiling when I go in. They all seem to work well together. They are very efficient and it’s the only location where i feel like they get the portions correct and arent skimpy.

I truly think their food is the best, but the lady at the register, she has light colored curly-ish hair was obviously not trained properly. She has put my drink down upside down a few times which is unsanitary plus she is not very friendly. It is making me not want to come back here.

I am not one to normally leave reviews but my experience today and the last time I came to this location was not good. The staff seems to be annoyed with every request. The portion size seemed way smaller than it should have been. They did not put the sauce on our Baja bowl and when we asked for it they just argued with us. They finally reluctantly gave it to us. The bathroom also did not have any paper towles which isn’t that big of a deal but after the staff experienced I just left annoyed.

I stopped in to grab dinner for my family, and the employee who helped me was really unwelcoming and rude. She seemed irritated when I needed to customize my salad, and when I told her I didn’t want the tortilla, she tossed it aside pretty aggressively. Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time—every time we go in, there’s always unprofessional behavior and attitude from the staff. This location has issues.
