The big screen special for 3 tacos is $10:49. There wasn’t any notification of an up-charge for any protein. The lady making tortillas said there would be an additional charge. I told her there is no indication of a charge for shrimp or beef. She looked at the screen and agreed there should be no surcharge. When I arrived to pay for the order, Kate insisted she couldn’t correct the screen and would have to charge more for the 2 shrimp tacos we ordered. The problem is this-when there is a discrepancy with advertised pricing and the screen, should the customer be penalized? The surcharge was only $2.00 but the principle is if a problem occurs does Costa Vida rule in favor of a misrepresentation and charge the customer more than the screen indicates, or should the signage be corrected to clarify the additional charge? No one was empowered to over-ride the surcharge which was totally unfair. Instead, the manager came to explain the policy . Customer service is in the corporate culture and should be uniformly applied to the benefit of the customer if the oversight in the main screen advertising specials is incorrect. Eventually the manager provided $2.00 of cinnamon, but my blood pressure was already off the charts.

This has always been a great go to place in our neighborhood, but lately? Yuck! Make sure you check your order if you use the app. Entrees didn’t have rice and beans as paid for and tortillas seemed stale. Something was wrong with the queso – it was liquid, not just runny…liquid. First they said they were out, then somebody came from the back area with a cup of whatever they had I guess. Called the customer line, no reply. Unfortunate.

Been coming here for years because I’ve always lived close by. Ten years ago, this place was amazing. For the last 6 or 7 years, it’s mediocre. I went in today and the old Hispanic lady making the tortillas is doing a wonderful job. The young Hispanic guy taking/making orders is also doing a great job. As soon as it comes out of the oven is where it gets dicey. The employees on the register side mixed up my order, tried to give me someone else’s. Didn’t offer any sides like sour cream or anything like that. And it’s been like that every time I’ve been in there in the last 5 or 6 years. The only reason I still go is because it’s close to my house and the food is usually fine. Seems like the Hispanic people working are doing amazing and the other young people have no idea what’s going on.

Wow! Way to deliver for your customers! Kids meal and regular meal have the same amount of rice and beans! Regular taco combo $8.59 kids $4.99. So for $3.60 you get a few more ounces of soda, but you don’t get the cinnamon tortilla! Phenomenal!

Oh yeah, ssllloooow service. Few clean tables. Phenomenal!

Sorry I mixed my rice and beans together before I took my photo, but portion sizes for both were portioned with the same mini scoop!

Why would someone go somewhere if they ask for steak and shrimp in a bowl they are given under 10 small pieces of steak and 3 pieces of shrimp. And when they say something about it. The lady with glasses that goes by the name of “Kim” gives them attitude about it. Please retrain Kim on serving people food and customer service. Last time going to this costs vida. No other costa vida gives you so little food

Placed an online order October 20th, order said to be done by 630. Showed up just after 630, order was not done and informed they had about 6 online orders to do before ours. Because of time restraint we could not wait for those orders to get ours so we requested a refund. Laura said she processed the return but a week and a half later it still has not showed up in our account. So we went in to get it solved. Laura gave attitude and refunded us cash but only for the meal total and not the tip that was applied to the online order. (Kept our receipt as well)
Upset that we were given attitude when we should get our money back for food that we paid for but didn’t recieve. Minus the tip that they kept.
If I could give no stars I would.

Our catering was super late for our event, and this delay caused significant problems for our guests and affected the overall experience.

We planned everything around the agreed delivery time, so the late arrival put us in a very difficult position. I’m requesting that this issue be looked into and that steps are taken to prevent it from happening again.
55 min late is ridiculous This location keeps getting worse, and the late catering for our event was unacceptable, and the employee didn’t even apologize—she was stressed and had an attitude.

The service was wonderful. I asked for specific amounts and items in my salad and the staff were friendly and helpful and made sure that what they were going to give me was exactly what I wanted. They smiled and were polite. The food was great, and my granddaughter enjoyed playing cornhole with us on the patio. Our experience was greater that good, and our party of four left commenting on what great service and good food we had. I will definitely want to come again next time I’m in Utah.
