I love their food but I had a terrible experience the last time i visited. I went through the drive through and ordered 3 number 5’s with no beans and only rice. The guy taking orders spoke broken English therefore there was a language barrier. I waited a long while for my food, which is fine, glad it was fresh. Upon receiving my food and receipt I realized I was rung up for 5 quesadillas& charged for extra rice. I went back through the drive through to explain the mistake, the guy who took my order seemed irritated and made it seem like it was my error. When I got to the window, I waited a long time to speak to someone, finally they adjusted my total, I look at the receipt and it was still wrong, they finally got it right and asked for the quesadillas back. Seems like the right thing to do as far as good customer service would have been to let me keep them for my inconvenience since they will just be thrown away anyways. The whole ordeal took me 20 minutes. I don’t know if I would visit again.

I’ve been to this Costa Vida many times, and I love it!! My favorite thing is their sweet pork burrito. They also do fantastic at catering, I’ve experienced their catering many time. If you want to make your day better, come here!!

As someone who doesn’t eat meat, I can’t say how much I love how there are so many flavors. The fajitas omg so good.
I’ve been here a handful of times for burritos they are huge and have all had a different attitude. That is a first for any similar place I’ve been. The employees have been in good spirits and enjoying what they do.
It would be a shame if anyone didn’t try this restaurant!

Every time we go here something from our order is missing. The food is so good we return but after tonight I am not sure we will. Per usual the extra queso we ordered was missing. The nachos had no beans, very little cheese and very little meat. It was pretty much chips. The quesadilla we ordered had less meat than usual and two people had ordered double rice and it was barely a single rice. It was a very disappointing visit and is making me question if we will return. I will say everytime we come in the staff is always friendly.

As a former Utah resident, I was excited to find out that Costa Vida had expanded to Minnesota. My family and I drove almost an hour to visit the location in Apple Valley as I was a fan of this chain while living in Utah, and I wanted to see if it was still as good as I remembered it to be.
Costa Vida, you did not disappoint.
Not only was the food as tasty and well apportioned as I remembered, but the staff was top notch and took great care of us.
I WILL be coming back and I hope that this store soon becomes one of many in the area.

If I could provide negative stars, I would. I placed an order online. Gave them 20 min for pick up and an additional 20 in the restaurant. Bottom line, never got my food, but plenty of excuses about why it wasn’t being made (ran out of rice, drive thru back up, too busy, blah blah blah). No apology ever and then when I was told the order would be cancelled and my online payment would be credited, it was not! Absolutely worst customer service of ANY place I have ever been

We tried this place out after watching a TikTok from JD Hovland. While this place feels like a Chipotle or Qdoba in concept, it’s actually more comfortable on the inside, and the smothered burrito really changes things up. The portion sizes are huge! My hubby and I split a burrito, chips and queso and were both very well fed. We chose the sweet pork protein, which was super tasty and tender, and the roasted green Chile sauce was excellent! It has a very bright, inviting, and casual decor. The service was excellent and down-the-line like Chipotle or Subway. Their hot sauce selection is singularly strong, and I loved the Horchata was perfection. The workers seemed happy, and the dining area (and what we could see behind the counter) was very clean and well-kept.
This is a unique and good quality restaurant, and I would definitely return!

They allowed me to sample the sweet pork (which is phenomenal) and made sure I was pleased with my toppings before moving to the next one. It’s different from Chipotle. They offer refried beans as an option which I loved and they had dessert options! Costa’s food is more flavorful in my opinion. I got the sweet pork nachos and would absolutely come here again.

I’m not sure who’s running this place but the guy working the line serving the food is a completely arrogant jerk. Ordered two burritos and he threw about a half a scoop of beans on the tray. I asked him for a little more Beans and he said I’ll have to charge you for that. Then I asked him how much is just a single taco to go with my order and he said I don’t know, maybe I’ll charge you five bucks. My bill came to $51. This will be the last penny I’ll ever spent at this place. In the future, I’ll go back to chipotle where they treat you with respect and treat you like a customer.
